You don't have to join Napster, you can download songs for 99cents also per song. I use both. Neither has the old albums I like yet.

You can import any song on your computer into the Ipod software for your computer, so I'm pretty sure you can do it for Napster songs as well. I have most of my albums stored on the player for Itunes and put some of them into my Ipod.

So, you can download songs? Can you put it on your Ipod, or just your PC. Teach me teach me, I want to learn!

MP3's are universal. It doesn't matter which program/bittorrent you use to download them. They all work the same way and can be used in any program.

As long as they have the .mp3 extension, you can put them in any program you want (that plays mp3's). So yes, you could load them into your Ipod.

Well, first the Mor would like to point out that downloading music that you have not legally purchased is illegal... Thus, The Mor doesn't condone the downloading of music via bittorrent. Music artists make entirely too little money for working class folks like ourselves to be downloading their hard work for free /sarcasm

Second, should decide to download an album or so, it will work on your PC or ipod. Like Brad said, MP3s are MP3s.

What's a creative ipod? the apple headphones are far superior to any of the other mp3 players I've listened to and worth the extra money if you dig music... ;)

Having to pay for your music is bs...the encryption code on the apple is impossible to break while on the creative one its very simple...so you can easily load as much crap in there being illegal as you want.

Its called the Creative Zen MP3 Player $199.99 for 5gb

I have no trouble loading "anything" onto my ipod...got my 6gb for roughly less than that (couldn't be bothered working out the conversion...;)) not sure what the battery is like on the creative but mine lasts for days...keeps going even when it says it's run out...lol

You can all love me now or later. Tired of searching for illegal MP3's want to get them them but don't want to pony up $.99 a song well, you've come to the right person!!!!

A WING proudly presents two websites for your enjoyment:

1. http://www.mp3search.ru - This is a Russian site that you can buy MP3's for $.10 a song. WHY you ask well royalties are cheaper there, and we live in a worldwide economy BABY. After speaking with some people as far as if this is legal, well it is so be happy!!!!! (click on the US or British flag in the top corner to get it in English) EDIT: they are redoing the site will be back in a few days

2. http://www.allofmp3.com - This site is even COOOOLER!!!! This site lets you choose what format (MP3,OGG, FLAC, WAV, and more) and the audio rate you want (higher is better quality) It then encodes the audio for you in that format on the fly and you download the songs at a whopping $.02/meg. My wife puts on $20 and downloads album after album. They have a larger selection then mp3 search, but the same rules apply.

I never spend over $1.60 for an ENTIRE album (minimum 196KB/sec) So there you go you can pretty much throw up $20 and download about 1000 MB, or 333 songs at 3 MB each. Clearly 333 songs is greater then the 20 you would get from ITunes and if you went the $.10 route you'd get 200 songs 10X as many as ITunes. Don't forget that both sites let you listen to samples to make sure your getting the right song.

So your Hebrew brother comes to the rescue and saves you all some cash... Spread the word and hit the RIAA where it hurts LEGALLY

I'm surprised anyone would think they were durable in the first place they look fragile... in other news I'm getting my nano in a few days with a protective invisible cover ;) the ipod video is being released in a day or two bigger screen and video options...not sure how much space  lol

C'mon people... This "ipods suck vs. no they don't" argument can go on forever. let the Mr be the mediator.

1. Budd hates the ipod. Seems like he's never owned one personally, but has a small vendetta against them.

2. Do some research. ipods aren't the industry leader because they suck (sorry Budd)

3. There seems to be a lot of ipod horror stories.... The Mor's sure if you look (other MP3 company's forums or such), you can find similar stories for any MP3 player.

4. The Mor does not own an ipod. He does have several friends that are VERY happy ipod owners. The Mor will not disclose his MP3 player because that isn't important.

5. Stop trashing the ipod if you don't own one.

That is all.

My sister owns an older model. She bought it when they first came out, and i actually have used it on many occasions. It has many things wrong with it when listening to a song sometimes it randomly shuts down if you dont touch the screen. I have a decent mp3 player but actually im thinking bout getting a really really good ipod next...the ones with the video

Are you talking about files with the .wma extension? Did you rip them with Windows Media Player? If so they are .wma's.

You'll most likely need to convert them to .mp3's to be able to play them in Itunes.
