We play the Colts at home and the Jets play the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

That would make the AFC East look like this:

Dolphins------> 9-3
Patriots-------> 8-5 :cry: I don't believe the Bills will beat them
Jets----------> 7-5
Colts---------> 4-8
Bills----------> who cares :rolleyes:

Steelers------> 10-2
Raiders-------> 8-4 :lol: GO CHIEFS!!! :rolleyes: Yea, I know!! :lol:
Do I dare make that prediction???? :lol: :lol:

Do you think the Steelers can take the Jets in their house?

Are those your predictions for records after next week's games? If so, I pray that they'll be dead on as much as you've been dead on with your picks recently!:goof:

:monkey: Jets, Bills, Colts, Patriots, and all non believers in Dolphin Football

Well......that would be so perfect! But most important, the fins will have to beat the colts....as I recall, didn't they split their meetings last year? Fins won in Indy; Colts won in Miami (heartbreaker).
But Fins still managed to win the division....:) And....the Colts are on a 4 game losing streak....maybe they bounce back against the Fins.

Jets vs. Steelers? Steelers should win but you never know...the Steelers are in the midst of a winning streak...they are due for a loss...and this may be the game (I don't think so but.....) Steelers almost lost to the pathetic Vikes today.

Pats are hot right now....they may be playing the best ball in the AFC East....they'll smoke the bills!

Thank you very much Aqua & Orange54 :)

Yes, I do believe that is how the AFC East will shape up for next week.

Steelers DESTROY the Jets
Patriots will BEAT the Bills

AND

Kansas City Chiefs will squeak past the Chokeland Gayders :eek:

Damn, that was the hardest thing I have ever had to say. :eek: Can I change my mind later? :lol: :lol:

It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if the Jets beat the Steelers ;) Though I think the Steelers will win.

Assuming the Steelers lose and we win, we will have Homefield for the time being, so it's a win-win situation :)

Nice angle! I wasn't thinking about that. :D

to predict what will go on in this league. i was hoping but i never would have guessed that the cards would beat the raiders.
and even when i think the fins are flat, i can't remember when they had back to back games where they had 3 TD's in the forth quarter. :confused:

i love the way your predictions looks:D

Not only we would have a chance of homefield throughout the playoffs (assuming all go well ;) ) but there's still an interesting game for us on the schedule...

WEEK 17 - NYJ vs OAK

....and that might be what we need....for the division & for a bye:)

AWESOME!! Thanks for bringing that up :)

I think our D wil have a real hard time with the Niners. We can't seem to stop anyone's running game these days, and with Owens, and the rest of the Niners WR's, plus a healthy Hearst...who do you stop?

Not to mention it's a cross country flight for the Phins.

Just a tough game.

HOWEVER I do believe it is the only game that we have a marginal chance of winning. Every other game looks very winnable, as long as we keep playing tough.

We could be 12-4, would that get us the bye and homefield? It might!

totally agree '87. Our D seems to be able to handle teams that are 1 dimensional either running or passing pretty well. But SF can run, pass and has a hell of a QB.

At home, I would say we could still prevail, but the D is never as good on the road.

So 12-4 it is. :D

I am very negative today. Next weeks game is not a lock, Peyton is going to be fuming this week after the last two games. Hopefully Madison and Chambers are healthy enough to play.

at home, we can stop the Colts w/o EJ. Though we cannot forget that horrible loss in 1999.

The Dolphins (8-3) are now one fourth-quarter comeback away from tying the team record set in 1992, which also was the last season the franchise reached the AFC Championship game. The 2001 Dolphins received some help toward their playoff dreams on Sunday with the New York Jets and Oakland both losing.

The 49ers are not as good as you think.
They will lose to the Rams this week and by a fair margin.

WE NEED THE JETS TO WIN THIS WEEK. The Jets schedule is too tough to catch us anyway. The Steelers have a pretty simple schedule. We need to catch up to them to get homefield advantage.

i'd rather go in as a number 2 seed, we would still get a first round bye!:rolleyes:

Win the division first, then worry about byes...

not sure if you noticed this response to your query:

I would rather be #2 seed and have the Jets not make the playoffs then be a #1 seed and the Jets make the playoffs.

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride! :D

I hope the Steelers prevail but we shouldn't be surprised if the JEts pull it out...they've been good on the road this year, though I think the steelers SHOULD win at home!

I was thinking if the cards can beat the raiders, who knows...the hapless Bills can be spoilers down the road...so long as they don't spoil it for us! :)

It's fun to look ahead but this week, we play Indy....and that game will be tough....didn't indy beat the fins in pro player last year? I believe the teams split their games, didn't they?

I think it VERY, VERY important that the Fins win their division games!!
