Just wondering because I was thinking of buying tickets to the Superbowl in Miami in 07 or 09. Is it worth the price?

What was your experience like?

I was at Superbowl 31 in New Orleans.

Packers 35, Patriots 21.

Right in my backyard. It was fun. I wore a cheesehead for the game. :chuckle:

My wife and Sister in Law went to the one in the metrodome, they said it was a blast! Personally I am waiting for the Dolphins to make one before I go, but I will be there when we are!

I have seen every Superbowl on TV since 1975, and I heard the two SB's Miami won .....I lived in Italy in the early 70's and the game was not televised worldwide like it is now. Wish they had a Superbowl in Denver so I could go, but it can be a little cold here in February outdoors.

There's some type of rule when it comes to cold weather cities getting the SB. I think they base it on the average temperature. If it's below a certain number then they can't get the SB.

i went in 1980, philadelphia and oakland in the supredome. was cheering philly so of course, oakland won. they didn't have the jumbotron down because ray guy (oak punter) would hit it with his kicks. so no replays. but it was a great time, and my brother and i enjoyed it to the max.

our parents were season ticket holders here in miami, i was stationed in mississippi, and season ticket holders were allowed to purchase two SB tickets.
