This guy just can't catch a break!

Rumor has it he also broke his ankle when he tried to tie his shoes...

The guy just needs to hang it up already.

Worst move by the Magic in history next to letting Shaq go. You never sign a guy while he's on crutches. I don't care what season he had last year. He ate up so much of the Magic's cap that it was a joke.

I feel bad for Grant I always liked him before he joined the magic.

oh yea great one!

he was healthy pretty much all of last year. and any athlete can get a hernia, has nothing to do with past injuries or how old he is.

When your best season in recent memory has you missing 15 games, something is definitely wrong.

There is no doubt in my mind that signing Grant Hill was the worst thing the Magic ever did next to letting shaq walk (it may have been out of Orlando's control on that one...he really wanted to go to LA). They signed a guy that was on crutches at the time for god sakes! Their salary cap was crippled for a few years because of him. The only way he could possibly play for what he cost that team is if he played like Michael Jordan when he came back.

Sports Hernia or not, it was only a matter of time before the guy gets hurt again. If you flick the guy you might break his arm!

Grant Hill is a class act, a hard worker, and a role model. He's been dealt a bad hand that would have made the toughest of tough guys quit. He didn't and still hasn't. This guy is the epitomy of tough and the only way this guy will give up is if his ankle falls off...and even then I'm not sure!

I agree with that. But sometimes you don't need to act like Evander Holyfield and keep fighting.

This is shocking news!

I feel bad for Grant, one of the few duke players I like, but maybe it's time to hang 'em up.
