That would not only suck for the game but Baltimore is off this week so I can't play Sharpe or Ismail in my Fantasy League...It comes down to either Chambers or Morton and I want to do Chambers cause he is doing better than Morton at the moment.

from Dolphins: McKnight Misses Practice (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news/fanball/20011206/fanball-dolphinsmcknightmiss.html)

James McKnight (ribs) missed practice on Wednesday, but he is listed as probable for Monday's game.

12-06-2001, 11:41 AM
concerned about that.

I think both Cambers and McKnight will play. They just want to rest them as long as possible. It is a Monday night game they will practice on Saturday. These guys are receivers they have been catching balls their whole lives I don't think it will affect them on Mon if they don't practice catching balls all week. They will practice the routes on Saturday and be fine.

To be honest I don't believe Fiedler and Chambers practice anyway. It seems Fiedler throws the ball as far and as high as he can and Chambers runs as fast and jumps as high as he can to make the catch.

Chambers m/b OK since he is not even listed:

from http://www.miami.com/herald/content/sports/football/dolphins/digdocs/004123.htm

Running back J.J. Johnson (quadriceps) and cornerback Sam Madison (shoulder) are questionable for Monday's game.

Madison practiced, but Johnson did not. Nine Dolphins are probable, and all practiced except wide receiver James McKnight (ribs) and right guard Todd Perry (knee). Both are expected back today.

For the Colts, defensive end Brad Scioli (ankle) is out, DE Chukie Nwokorie (knee) is doubtful, and linebacker Mike Peterson (knee), kicker Mike Vanderjagt (back) and defensive back Cory Bird (ankle/knee) are questionable.

In related news:
The Dolphins promoted guard Andy Vincent to the active roster, and signed RB Jerry Westbrooks, a Boca Raton native who played at Ohio State, to the practice squad.

Yeah our injury report is a who's who on offense. Though they are all listed as probably but still: Chambers, Lamar, McKnight, & Konrad are on there.

Perry sucks. He's one of the reasons Lamar isnt getting very many rushing yards.

from http://www.miami.com/herald/content/sports/football/dolphins/digdocs/102726.htm

RG Todd Perry (knee) and WR James McKnight (ribs) returned to practice, and only RB J.J. Johnson (quad) was held out. CB Sam Madison participated.

and from http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news/fanball/20011207/fanball-dolphinsmcknightprac.html

James McKnight (ribs) returned to practice on Thursday and should play on Monday night.

Is Chambers ok? http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/images/icons/icon5.gif

12-07-2001, 01:34 PM
last I heard he was listed as probable - which means he'll play, but I guess him and McK are one big hit away from sitting :(

12-07-2001, 03:47 PM
smith has been on there all season but still played, thats why i said he should have been rested against carolina.

fingers crossed for them all.:D :goof:

12-07-2001, 03:57 PM
are very banged up on Defense, and for a defense that is bad when they are healthy, Chambers, and Gadsden should have a good day... Smith may even rush for more than 80 yards, OK maybee I'm pushing it now, their defense can't be that bad...

12-07-2001, 04:33 PM
but in this case, there is less chance of a fin getting hurt. unless the replacements the colts use are spastics!

12-08-2001, 02:26 PM

Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt said that cornerback Sam Madison will return to the starting lineup now that his shoulder separation has healed enough that he can have contact work. Madison has practiced with the first team all week. Terry Cousin and Jamar Fletcher become the backup cornerbacks. Halfback J.J. Johnson remains a question mark because of a quad injury that kept him out of practice. He's become the third back behind Lamar Smith and rookie Travis Minor.

The Colts won't have defensive end Brad Scioli (ankle) and defensive end Chukie Nwokorie (knee) for the Monday night game against the Dolphins. Don't expect linebacker Mike Peterson to play because of his knee injury, along with strong safety Cory Bird (ankle-knee). Kicker Mike Vanderjagt remains a question mark because of his back injury

12-08-2001, 05:40 PM
We need Madison this week to cover Harrison. Good week to get healthy again.:)

12-08-2001, 05:43 PM
definitely, if we can limit Harrison, the Dolts will suck on O ince only Pollard will be dangerous. I read in the Sun Sentinel that everybody practiced on Friday so we are a little banged up, but healthy enough for Dec football.

at last you end an injury report on a positive note!

i know, i know, you don't write the reports, but you do put them here! :yell:
