I just saw an extra point blocked and run back to the other endzone. I thought a blocked extra point kick became a dead ball. Apparently this is wrong, does anybody understand the rule ?

In college if you block an extra point or get an int/fumble on a 2 point conversion try you can run it back for 2.

Thanks, I guess having never seen one go back like that I always assumed it was like the pros.
