First Oklahoma (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86131) fell from the Top 25, then Michigan (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86059) was gone. Tennessee (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86099) dropped out a month later and now Florida State (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86043).

The Seminoles (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86043) became the latest Top 25 fixture to fall from The Associated Press poll this season, dropping out Sunday after losing their third straight game.

Florida State (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86043) is unranked this week for the first time since late November 2001.

With much of the Top 25 idle last weekend, and no big upsets in the limited schedule, there was little movement in the media poll.

USC (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86095), which was off this week, is No. 1 for a record 32nd straight poll. USC (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86095) finishes its season Saturday against UCLA (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86094).

Texas (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86138) is No. 2, but the Longhorns (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86138) lost four first-place votes this week to USC (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86095) after a tougher-than-expected 40-29 victory at Texas A&M (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86129). Texas (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86138) plays Colorado (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86137) in the Big 12 title game. If USC (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86095) and Texas (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86138) stay undefeated, they'll play in the Rose Bowl for the Bowl Championship Series title.

No. 3 LSU (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86103), No. 4 Penn State (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86064) and No. 5 Virginia Tech (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86054) held their places. Florida State (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86043) is the seventh team ranked in the AP preseason top 15 to fall out of the rankings at some point this season. The others are Tennessee (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86099), Michigan (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86059), Oklahoma (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86131), Iowa (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86058), Louisville (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86145) and Purdue (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86062).

all i can say is, we need a new offensive cordinator. my only weekness i see next year is offensive line. we are pretty young on OL, so hopefully we can improve alot, cause if we dont, and still have bowden as our OC, we will never do anything against this top ACC competition.

Even your oline should be ok. The biggest problem with FSU is the same problem they have had for about 5 years... Their O cordinator is HORRIBLE. Seriously, I could call a better game. Bobby needs to open his eyes and get rid of him. The longer Jeff is there, the more FSU will lose and then the more recruits they will start to lose to UM and UF. If Bobby is not careful, we could be seeing the begining of the demise of FSU.

It was only a matter of time. A lot of people even wondered BEFORE the loss why they were top25. That week 1 win against UM was the only thing they had going for them.

Our whole offensive philosophy has changed since the first of the year. At the beginning of the year we were back to the old FSU style of football, 4 WR sets with a lot of swing passes to our running backs. After we lost the game to Virginia, it seemed we kind of went back to the past 4 years, running a straight I-set with play-action about every time we threw the ball. As much pressure as the Gators were getting on Weatherford, I can't understand why he continued to call play-action passes. It's obvious he doesn't know what plays to call. I'm as die-hard an FSU fan as they come, but if it takes Bobby having to leave in order for Jeff to leave, then that time has come.

Their Oline looked TERRIBLE saturday. Weatherford's jersey was completely green!
