Coca-Cola Co., the world's No. 1 soft drink company, on Wednesday said it will launch a coffee-infused soft drink called Coca-Cola Blak in various markets around the world in 2006.

he news of the launch came hours before Coke Chief Executive Neville Isdell was scheduled to address financial analysts and investors in New York.

The new drink, a combination of Coca-Cola Classic and coffee extracts, will be first launched in France in January before being rolled out in the United States and other markets during 2006.

First of all, that sounds nasty.

Second, I'm surprised the FDA allowed that. Alcohol is a depressant; caffeine is a stimulant. They obviously don't have enough caffeine in there to do anything, but if someone were to go drink a whole six-pack of that stuff in one sitting, it could be dangerous.

Yuk....I love Coke, but they're trying too hard. Doesn't Coke have enough caffeine?

theres a budwieser energy drink. i dunno if thats the same thing. ive had it, doesnt do anything for me personally.
