"It was pretty obvious without looking at the signs, which lot was for students and which lot was for teachers: All you had to do was look for the parking lot with the most BMWs, Lexuses, Mercedes-Benzes and Ranger Rovers,” recalls Lauren Roberta, 20, a class of 2003 alumna at the prestigious Hackley School in upscale northern Westchester County, New York.

Roberta’s encounters with high-end vehicles began before she even had her license. For her 16th birthday, Roberta and her father, George Roberta, spent some quality time bonding over the BMW X5 (http://www.forbesautos.com/gallery/2006/bmw/x5/?partner=netscape), Lexus RX300 and Mercedes-Benz ML350. Because Lauren did not even have her permit, she relied upon her father to determine the driving dynamics of the vehicle, although “I listened carefully as the salesman explained the various features of each car and I evaluated the aesthetic aspects of the cars that we tested.” After a very careful analysis, Lauren decided on a new 2001 Lexus RX300 in “Sunset Mist Pearl, which looks pinkish silver in the sun.”

it's pretty pathetic, what do these kids have to look forward to when they're out on there own if daddy does cut them loose one day.

Daddy won't.. Meanwhile my brother and I will continue to share our Renault Encore '85....

(Although I would love to own a Mini... or if life is not going to give me that much money, a Renault Megane Sedan)

i drive a 2005 Chevy Colorado, but i am payin for it on my own. I have a job and i took out a loan, But at my school we have alot of Camero's, Firebirds, a Hummer, a BMW, then u have alot of like RSX's, and stuff like that, that are tricked out. The thing is all but 1 camero teh parents paid for everything, and it makes me mad that i have to work hard for my car and other people don't have to work and get just as good stuff if not better.

I have a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer, not bad but nothing compared to what some people at my school have. One kid has an 800+ HP Supra and another one switches between an escalade and a Gallardo!
