Trade Walker for Artest, walker has been stinking up the court.

Maybe the Red Sox and O's can work a 3 way deal out sending Artes to Baltimore, Miggy to Boston and Manny to the NBA.

Artest would retire before he came off the bench for us, or anybody for that matter.

Artest would NOT come off the bench for us......he would be a perfect fit as a starter at the 3....

No matter though....we wouldn't want to give up what they would want....

They would likely ask for a minimum of Walker and Posey....

Not gonna happen.

Artest is just trying to get sent to New York, he has an agenda here. Hes a great player, acting like the Pacers would just dump him for Walker is a joke. Only the Heat were dumb enough to sign that dud, no one would trade a allstar caliber player and a great defender for a forward that stands around the 3 point line throwing up bricks. Artest wants to be in the New York market and with a team that will let him put up 25 shots a night. Marbury for Artest might work.

Marybury makes like 10 million more a year then Artest so New York is going to have to take on another contract if this is going to work!

Allstar caliber player and a great defender? You just described Toine and Posey.

Artest isn't playing as good defensively as he used to....he is playing LAZY....watch a Pacers game......

He is still a great talent but he is not a better player than Marbury or Peja....whoever trades for him is getting the short end......

Shouldnt be too hard to find another big salary on the Knicks. Isiahs in charge, there are problay 10 other guys to throw in.

Cmon, Toine is a guy that needs 20 shots a night to score. Hes a team killer also. Posey is alright. Neither of them is in Artests league. Artest is a really good player, hes a complete headcase so you could argue a Toine and Posey deal is fair all things considered but on the court its a raw deal. Toine sucks, hes always been on my overrated list, theres a lot of guys in the league that would score like him if they chucked the ball up all night and day.
Besides, the Heat dont need this deal, get Shaq back healthy and they are still one of the top 2 teams in the East.

Toine for Artest?!? Why not just offer Haslem for Tim Duncan while you're at it? Larry Bird would giggle and hang up at that offer. Walker's ridiculous contract makes him almost impossible to trade for the next few years. I don't think the Heat have the right stuff to make a deal for Artest.

The Artest/Stojakovic rumor has been around for about 2 years now. I mean, either $#!t or get off the pot, guys.

things just can't go right for the pacers...artest wants out, and now bender might have to retire at the age of what 24? bender has everything to be a star he just can't stay on the court.

Pacers president and chief executive Donnie Walsh said Monday he didn't like Artest speaking to the media first, but would try to trade him. He added Artest's desire to move on wasn't the only factor involved.

"This is kind of the last straw of a lot of issues," Walsh said, "and it's at the point where we should look for a trade." Artest, out the past two games with sore right wrist, remains on the roster but is inactive with pay for the rest of the week, Walsh said.
