Not what the Horns need during the run-up to their biggest game in more than three decades...or what Griffin needs before the NFL draft.

There is something incredibly wrong about this. This guy has had an incredibly tough life -- His father has been in and out of jail and his mother has been in and out of rehab. Cedric moved in with another family when he was about 10 and has worked incredibly hard in community service programs for troubled youths. This guy has had a tough life and has done everything he can to go against the grain and make something of himself. I just do not see it at all possible that this could be true....anyone that knows this guy knows what I'm talking about...this is like Ronnie Brown being charged with murder.

EDIT: I just read this:

I believe no charges will be filed against him. They're saying this is assault and robbery, and it sounds hideous, but this is a trash-talking incident on the street involving Cedric and that's it.

I think basically Cedric didn't commit any crime, but was just involved in the larger incident.

Why does this always happen to the players playing in the championship game?
