I just saw on ESPN ticker that UF running back Sklyer Thorton will transfer. Discuss.

& DeShawn Wynn is leaning towards going pro, if he gets a 5th round grade. Urban is chasing away all his RBs. He's gonna kill the NFL prospects of a lot of kids on the offensive side of the ball at Florida.

You really don't like UF, Meyer or anything associated with either do you?

He's right. Meyer has a "gimmick" offense. It gives it's players great college numbers but on the flip-side it makes them bad NFL players, or they at least struggle with the transition.

ya, I knew that the option in Spread-option sounded strange in the pro's.

:sidelol: You obviously didn't see the Gators play much this year. Thornton saw the field VERY rarely and Wynn has been extremely inconsistent his whole time at Florida. Markus Manson and Kestahn Moore got more playing time than anyone with the exception of maybe Wynn. But Florida is completely fine at RB.

They know what kind of system he runs from the get go. If they choose to go there, which obviously alot of them are thats their choice. You guys need to get over the "gimmick" thing, its there to stay, get over it and take it for what it is, a COLLEGE football system.

Would you Cane fans be complaining if Meyer replaced Coker?

We don't need to get over it, the NFL scouts are the one's pulling their hair out.

OMG, Friedgen finally got a top QB recruit. Now he needs to find a receiver or two for him to throw to. For someone who's a great coach he can't recruit offensive talent for sh**. He's let so much talent get out of Maryland recently it's ridiculous: WR Derrick Williams, QB Ike Whitaker, CB Ambrose Wooden, DE Victor Abiamiri, DE Derrick Harvey, WR Derrick McPhearson, WR Doug Dutch, WR Deyon Williams, & RB Barrington Edwards.

I agree, kind of surprising that Maryland doesnt do better recruiting in their own backyard.

I think Coker should get one more year if not then he's gone.He did win several national championships, and he essentially had to rebuild when the national teams graduated. I think he's in the right direction again maybe. But if not hey, I don't really care since I'm a gator fan.

Probably not. I probably wouldn't be complaining if SpeedRush99 replaced Coker as coach of the 'Canes. Coker is inept. He's in over his head. That said, I don't know if Meyer is the coach he's built up to be. We'll see over the next couple of years (he's doing a bangup recruiting job already). If he gets that system consistently winning in the SEC, he's a GOD in my opinion.

The SEC is traditionally the toughest college football conference in the nation. I, for one, am dog tired of being NFLU. It's great watching alumni of your team do well on Sundays, but wouldn't anyone rather watch their college team dominate on Saturdays? I don't care if Miami hires Barry Switzer and we run the wishbone, as long as we dominate college football. Having NFL players is so overrated, IMO.
