Why does everyone think Artest is the key to the champioship? He really hasnt done squat as far as winning goes.

Well really Minny only has 2 standout defensive players KG and Hassel(honorable mention Eddie Griffin).Minny lacks defense with the help of Ron artest on defense and being able shut key players down like lebron(held lebron to under 17 points).Ron Artest is a great shutdown player.

What do you envision them giving up for Artest?

I was hearing Rashad McCants may be involved, but would they really give up last years first round pick for Artest, a young guy yes, but a guy who if you ask me wont last 2-3 years without becoming a disruption again?

Artest is a great defender but does his baggage outweigh that? He wants to start throwing up 20+ shots a night too, probaly to get a bigger contract. Im not sure Artest cares about winning, why not just shut up and stay in Indy if thats the case? Indy is just as good or better than Minnesota and he wasnt content there.
