And it's also the winner of my "Best Music For Sex" Album award for 2005:

Neverending White Lights - "Act 1 - Goodbye Friends of the Heavenly Bodies"

It's amazingly mellow with a new singer on each track. If you want a sample, you should check out "The Grace". The guy who sings on that track is from Alexisonfire (a Screamo band).

There's a lot of fun to be had in tracking down the roots of all the vocalists on this record.

No wonder you're the man! Here I am with my lame Portishead, Morcheeba and Sneaker Pimps, and you're blowing them away with Nathaniel Merriweather!

I saw Lovage live a couple years ago in Vancouver! They were amazing!

Granted, Neverending White Lights is no Lovage but they're definitely worth checking out.

You youngsters just listen to old Barry here, The Prime Minister of Love...

when it's time to make sweet love to your woman, dim the lights and put on some Luther Vandross. Luther drives the women wild, trust me.

Or put on some Ike Hayes, or some Barry White, because if I do say so myself, I created sex music...I am the sex music master!

Ike's pretty good too.

 OK, you're on, please burn me a copy - but whatever you do, don't include the cover art, because I don't believe that hysterical laughter is a turn-on for women, and that's what I'd do if I saw that cover when I was putting it on.

I'll PM you my address.

Yes he was and it was the only time I've ever had the pleasure of seeing him in person. I would say that was my favorite show ever but Kool Keith takes it all because he threw chicken wings and porno magazines into the audience. :D

Cool. I just sent an email to the guy behind Neverending White Lights promising him that I would buy a cd next week (which is what I always do if I really love an artist).

What can I say? Christmas bit my wallet in the ***.
