Good. The jests have to start over. And they are not going to get a stud coach like we did because there are so many openings.

I heard on NFL Network last night that they are interested in Jim Haslett!!!

If that happens, this is me: :mdfin::banana:

Man, talk about highway robbery. KC must have dirty pictures of Terry Bradway or something.

Kansas also traded picks to get Vermeil from St. Louis when he was "retired" for the second time.

If the Jest hire Haslett Id like to get a Jest Tv package just to watch them find ways to lose every week. Lets see Haslett vs. Saban or Belichek, I see 4 losses a year right there guaranteed. Im surprised anyone is interested in Haslett, his teams quit on him every year hes coached.

I wouldnt know what to do with myself if Haslet goes to the Jets. It would be like a Christmas/Birthday/New Years gift all rolled into one.

I think KC had the leverage on this one. Edwards had one foot in the door to the way out already. So, KC wasn't going to give up too much for someone that didn't have a long leash anyway.

I must be in the minority thinking Herm ain't all that. Bad trade for the Chefs.

to add more salt to the wounds. Donnie Henderson is expected to follow Herm to KC and be the DC there (would do wonders for DJ and Mitchell)

Nice. Now the Jets have to start over, and it will hurt them for years to come.

One of the three in house guys being mentioned as a candidate for the Jets job is Mike Westoff.....I think Westoff is and has been, for 15 years. one the best Special Teams coaches in the league. I wonder why special teams coaches never seem to get mentioned as head coach candidates. They are in all reality one the three assistant coaches on each staff that have coordinating responsibility. Coaching on special teams makes a huge difference. Look at Frank Beamer at Va Tech. Special teams win them three games each and every year and Beamer actually coaches them himself. A lot of coaches pay lip service to strong special teams but there are very few that put significant resources and time into it.
Anyway some of the coaches past who were special team coaches before getting a head job were Marv Levy, and George Allen.
