NCAA | M. Vick to head to the NFL Draft
Fri, 6 Jan 2006 21:44:19 -0800

Kyle Tucker, of the Virginian-Pilot, reports after being dismissed from the team, Virginia Tech QB <A href="http://www.kffl.com/player/10956/nfl">Marcus Vick told the newspaper he would turn pro. "It's not a big deal. I'll just move on to the next level, baby," he said. Asked if that meant he would enter the NFL draft (http://www.kffl.com/link/160), he said, "Yeah, definitely."

MIAMI WILL PASS UP ON CUTLER AND DRAFT MARCUS VICK.

If Cutler is there, then Miami will select him

I think some other team will screw up and take Vick. The question is....which one. That should be the thread.

Please say NYJ.

Saban would make him cry... he'd be alright in Miami haha

This is ridiculous.

#1, Cutler wont be there as late as 16.

#2, Vick, at BEST will go late first round. His tumultuous end at V.Tech did nothing but hurt him. If he has a spectacular workout, he will probably go late first round.

I would tie myself to an anchor and jump into the Atlantic Ocean if this were to come to fruition.

MIAMI WILL PASS UP ON CUTLER AND DRAFT MARCUS VICK.

Due to Vick's ability to buy beer in order to seduce high schoolers...And for his lack of playing experience Miami will not take Vick.

Im guess(hoping) that Miami goes o-line.

Lol, I completely agree. Like I said, Vick would have to have the world's greatest workout in history and that would at best land him late first round. He will probably go late second to someone, or be like this past year's Adrian Macpherson and go in the 4th to a team willing to just take a chance on someone.

If anyone takes Vick, I guarantee you it wouldn't be in the first round.

Hmmm, I just realized I dont remember if Macpherson went in the 4th or later. I honestly forget. Still, I could see Vick lining up behind the wrong guy like Macpherson and then stomping his linemans leg in frustration.

Yeah Vick would have to run a 4.1 40 yard dash, and then throw the ball 90 yards through a spinning tire to sniff the first round..... :dolphins:

Lol, I can see Marcus Vick crying after getting thrown off the team and saying sadly "How can it get any worse? My career is over!" and his older brother Mike holding up a newspaper with the headline "Mike Vick gives herpes to strangers under false name 'Ron Mexico'" and Mike saying "Nah, now you are REALLY messed up enough to turn pro!" and Marcus declaring that same day.

What he did to that player (the stomping) was the lowest, most classless thing I have ever seen. I wouldnt take him in the 7th round unless he was Peyton Manning

marcus vick will go in the 6th round and if he were smart he would get in shape now and get right by the combine

I agree Marcus Vick will be lucky to go on the first day after the reputation he built down in V-Tech. Nick Saban does seem like the type of guy who could slap some sense into Vick, but i dont want to take that chance and get a potential team cancer at the quarterback position nonetheless

ganew57

he is a project, not worth of a first round pick, especially with his recent history
