Steelers aren't overrated. They're solid.

I am rooting for Cincy simply because I think it's great that they're finally erasing years of bad memories. A win would be another footnote.

It's going to rely a lot on Carson Palmer.

Steelers by 10+ points.

The Bengals have shown the last month they are an offense only team.

The Steelers will jam it down their throats 35+ times for 200 yards.

Chad Johnson....what a great guy.

Mingling with tailgaters at 12:30. Can you imagine tailgating at Dolphins Stadium and Jason Taylor walks up and shakes your hand?

He can celebrate all he wants as far as I'm concerned. He makes football fun and is great for the game.

some of his antics do become tiresome, but as least he's doing it because he's good natured w/ a sense of humor and not to be hip or show anybody up(like Joe Horn or Steve Smith).

Speculation on my part. It's never good when they take you off on a cart. It's the same weak knee he hurt last year that ended his year.

Speculation on my part. It's never good when they take you off on a cart. It's the same weak knee he hurt last year that ended his year.

agreed. I'm hoping for the best but I doubt ,even if he is ok to return, that we'd even see him until the second half. and honestly, if the Bengals keep up the good work, they would potentially stay with Kitna like the Patriots did with Bledsoe in 2001 until the next game.

But Cincy might use this as an emotional springboard to win this game...even if they win this one, they can't get farther than the divisional playoffs without Palmer.

I have my doubts that Palmer will be back today. And it sucks, you know he was excited to be in his first playoff game.

CalDolFan10x14

That late hit call just now was BS.

I mean, he was technically out of bounds but the player's momentum was carrying him towards the Pittsburgh player who had just stepped out of bounds. I like to think the letter of the law states that if the man is trying to make a play while the player is inbounds, the player steps out, and the defender's momentum takes him into the player, that it's not a flag.

Kadiddlehopper

I know. It just seemed in full speed at least that he didn't even try to slow down. I will have to rewind and look at it again. I may not have seen it clearly but, I thought I saw him give him a shove. Reguardless it's over and it's a nit-pick call.

It would have been a blowout in Cincy's favor. The Bengals are gonna have to get used to that with Palmer out for the year with a torn ACL & MCL.

I still don't see Pittsburgh beating the Colts...I think the Colts beat the Steelers by at least 10....could be a blowout.....I think Denver and New England will be closer and could go either way.

Bengals O-line played like ****, causing Kitna to scramble on pretty much every play. Simple as that.

R_t_Kraken
01-08-2006, 10:55 PM
Poor Bungles, that sucks they had to go out like that. I feel for their fans. Losing your starting QB on the 2nd play of the game, thats gotta be some kind of playoff record. Cincy's D didn't step up all all this game, very dissapointing. Kitna did well in the 1st half, struggled in the 2nd.

I hope for Cincy's sake, Palmer will be fully recovered by next season.
