Denver Broncos 13-3 this season, including going 8-0 at home, not sure what you are talking about.

Come on man. they were beat. The only "mistake" they made was the T. Brown fumble. all the others were forced by the Broncos....hell one even by the punter. I am tired of hearing how the pats are great when they win..but when they lose they beat themselves......:shakeno:

i told my dad as soon as the colts went 11-0 that they would finish 13-3 and lose in their first game of the playoffs. I was right about one thing and not far off from another.

Are these two teams really the best the AFC has to offer??

It felt more like the Colts that we all knew in teh regular season never had a chance to show up today since they haven't played for over a month.

I'm very dissapointed with the AFC's offerings.

I hope the Panthers get a Super Bowl win, but every team just doesn't seem "great."

I guess that's parity for you.

Imagine a Broncos/Panthers Super Bowl, would it piss you off that two teams Miami beat are in the Super Bowl, or make you happy b/c you can brag that the Dolphins beat the two teams that are in the Super Bowl?

Actually...both happened.
I would say that the Pats mistakes lost them the game. I guess though that the Browncos took advantage of the mistakes. You're right though, both happened, so kudos to Denver.

Both the Broncos and the Steelers beat legitimate contenders and proved that they were the better teams. They EARNED their victories. If the playoffs were limited to those teams only perceived as 'great' teams, there would be no reason to have a regular season.

In the NFL, you can't criticize a team for making it far in the playoffs. There are so many great teams and to survive means that you have to beat great teams.
