View Full Version : PITTSBURGH and SEATTLE in the BIG GAME!!!

I am predicting a STEELERS/ SEAHAWKS Superbowl... Here is why...

I think the BRONCOS beat the PATSIES only because of the turn overs. The PASTIES gave that game away... There was no REAL running game on either side, but the BRONCOS have a much better pass defense that the PATSIES have... The BONCOS also sport one of the best running games in the league, but if the PATSIES can hold them, then I think another team can as well...

The STEELERS showed that they can throw the ball with the best of them... Ergo their defeat of the COLTS... They came out slinging and put 14 points on the board early. The second half they showed that their ground game will always deliver when required. The EDGE had none and MANNING was dodging bullets all day long...

BOTTOM LINE:
STEELERS beat the BRONCOS and become the 1st (6th seed) to make the SUPERBOWL!!! I beleive that PLUMMER will be sacked 4 times and throw 2 INTS... I think that the BRONCOS best chance at a game will be with the running game... But, if the STEELERS hold the running game to less that 100 yards, the STEELERS will win by 10+ points! If the BRONCOS get their running game going, I still predict a PITTSBURGH win by 2...

With the SEATTLE/PANTHERS game... Well, I will just say it... The SEAHAWKS will squeak by in this game. The SEAHAWKS has the best run defense in the post season... However, with FOSTER and DAVIS gone, PANTHERS won't have much of a running game with GOINGS...

ALEXANDER is expected back next weekend, but I would not put a lot of faith in that... This is going to be a REAL shootout between DELHOMME and HASSELBACK... Smith is the GO-TO guy for DELHOMME, but I think that HASSELBACK has more weapons in the receiver corps...

Just my TAKE!!!

And who's gonna be running the ball for Carolina?

My SuperBowl pick from the beginning of that playoffs is still alive, Seattle vs. Denver.

Blitzburgh and CArolina

Can you really see Pittsburgh winning 3 in a row on the road? Denver will be BY FAR the best defense they've faced, and if you put pressure on Ben you can make him make mistakes.

The Denver crowd will be in a frenzy, and Shanahan will outcoach Sr. Spits-a-lot.

I don't like the Broncos, and I'm pulling for the Steelers. But I just think this is what will happen.

Besides, fear not. The Carolina Panthers are winning the super bowl.

I Don't see it bubba... The STEELERS are excellent of the road this year... The BRONCOS slid by on too many mistakes by the PATSIES... PLUMMER is going to ge t rattled by the STEELERS "D" and the running game will sputter...

The PANTHERS do not have the weapons that the SEAHAWKS do... I think that they will struggle in the running game and SMITH is doubled the entire day!

BS, they capitalized on their opponents mistakes, its part of the game.

The second part I agree with, the Panthers have one weapon on offense, everyone knows this yet few have stopped him.

You are correct... They did capitalize on the mistakes, but how often do the PATSIES make those mistakes? And if they had not made those mistakes, would the BRONCOS have won the game? Don't get me wrong... The BRONCOS played a very nice game... but if you take the mistakes away, minus BAILEY's 100 yard return, how close would have the game been?

Will the STEELERS make the same mistakes??? HMMM...

There is a running joke in New Orleans that with all the corporate sponsors taking over for NFL stadiums, the Superdome will be renamed the "Boudreaux's Buttpaste Dome."

I think it will be Denver and Carolina......Denver is 8-0 at home and I think Plummer can handle Blitzburg easily. I also think Denver can shut down Bettis and Parker, and Ward. Carolina has the experience with Delhomme and Steve Smith is unstoppable, while Alexander is hurt.
