I used to alot, but now the only races that interest me is the Daytona 500, Pepsi 400, Ea sports 500, and the other races at big tracks.

Talladega is one of the best tracks on the circuit.

Co-sign, it's better than Daytona IMO.

Those are my favorite tracks in that order.

I posted this in the other sports forum, and though that I would ask here to. I was wondering how many Finheaveners watch Nascar? If you watch, who's you driver??

I am a last 20 lap watcher. Just can't get into it for an entire race. I have always liked Mark Martin.

Daytona, Bristol, Talladega, Watkins Glen, Martinsville

Given those tracks, I'll give you one guess who my favorite driver is. :)

I keep up on it but don't regularly watch. I have gone to the Brickyard 3 times though. Gordon, Stewart, and Newman are the guys I root for(common theme there) I root for Gordon the most though.

I really hate racing. No offense to those who enjoy it. I just can't get into it. Here's the funny thing: I used to customize car trailers and vending trailers for Nascar race teams. (Actually I was the Service Manager over the shop). I met alot of the drivers and their guys. I was always given tickets to races, they'd give me shirts, hats, diecast cars, etc...etc...and I would always give them away.
Alot of those guys are pretty cool. Some of them are pricks. But I guess that pretty much goes for any group of people.

Please don't say Jeff Gordon

I like the Bristol track. Dont really follow it, but the rest of my family does, except my wife she hates it.

Okay, fine. I'm a big fan of the #24 Chevrolet.

You're a Dolphins fan, so I won't hold it against you.

I love Nascar. My driver is Kevin Harvick. I've been to Sonoma, Las Vegas and Richmond. Hoping to go to Bristol this year.

I used to work at a golf course that was literally 1 block from Texas Motor Speedway. It was pretty cool. The drivers would come over and play golf and stuff. I'm also like a 20 lap watcher and I like Tony Stewart.

I love NASCAR. I can understand why some people don't get it, that's fine. I love the competition, the team work, the drama, the history. The TV coverage can sometimes get off track but the bottom line racing makes up for it. Being an Earnhardt fan (#3), I pull for Dale Jr. He's a good guy. He proves that even with a lot of advantages he still has to go out and get it done. And that is no easy task in this sport. Nobody cares who your daddy is at 180 mph.

Dale Jerrett was #1 in testing today.
