I just don't see us passing on Greenway if he is there. Also I agree with Kiper...if we take a lineman I think it will be Winston Justice.

The thing I found interesting, with all these mocks having Cutler go in the top half of the draft is that He isn't even drafted in the 1st round according to this.

Indeed, somebody botched it.

You know what? If he has a bad senior bowl, we'll see another Orvolsky effect (where a hyped and little known QB plummets to obscurity). He's a gunslinger-type, so it's entirely possible he throws two picks in the senior bowl and drops clean out of the first round.
I think that would be great for us. This way we could still get a Huff or McNeill type (both potential BPA, and need positions), and still grab Cutler in the 2nd.

A mock dated today that does'nt have Cutler going in the first round?

I guess they missed that day of school.

you guys do know that Cutler is not a garunteed 1st round pick? especially after underclassmen at other positions declared.

Huh?

The guy is gone in the first 16 picks.

The talk this week (stolen from a thread in VIP) is that he is creeping up into the top 10.

The only way he does'nt go in round one is if he has a career ending injury at the combine or the Senior Bowl.

If Cutler's there at 16 and we don't take him then we won't get him in the 2nd....keep on mind that all the teams ahead of us in the 1st round will also be ahead of us in the 2nd round. If Miami wants him in the 2nd then chances are those other teams will want him too.If we don't take him at 16 then we won't get him at all.

Ozzy rules!!

Indy signed Cory Simon(Another nole) to play DT. Lot of money to tie up at one position.

If every mock isn't the same as all the others, the criticisim that results is a good source for amusement.

Scott Wright of NFLdraftcountdown.com thinks Cutler would be a reach at 16. It's funny how this site has so many draft experts at times. We're like ESPN sometimes :shakeno:

 Its kinda entertaining though. Especially when if you would have mentioned Cutler's name 2-3 months ago only a handful of people would have any idea who you were talking about.
