I would love it!! if it came down like that, but the way Croyle is moving up...I dont think he will be there with our 2nd pick.

just to let you know guys know about this nice litle gem marques colston im from the east coast nj...sometimes hofstra was on a local cable channel here msg on taped they put a few on his games on fri nite or sun mornings and i was blown away how good he is...he also broke hofstra receiveing yards record this year, but here is where his 2005 stats were....70 rec 975 yds 5 tds 13.9 avg long of 75 wich was a td vs stony brook...he is a find that could fit nicely in with the fish instead of waisting money on a reggie wayne or randle el...not a big fan on either..i say colston could come in and be a # 3 of the bat and i woulndt give up on fred gibson just yet....

that would be great, but i dont think huff will be there at 16, his stock is really rising. same with kelly jennings

That would be a very successful draft. Colston looked great in the shrine game.

That would be a great draft, but I don't see Huff being there for us. He is just way too good.

great mock uga, I hope it actually goes down like that...I for one would definitely be pleased... :D

I actually wouldn't mind Huff, J.Williams or Hill with our first rounder...

Croyle is moving up to fast right now to the point where they are talking about him being a late first round pick depending on his workouts go. I really am hoping for Huff but with Atlanta needing defensive backs especially at the safety position, they may end up taking him one spot ahead of us. Colston had a great week of practice in Mobile so he may be moving up. Hopefully he cools off and we can grab him in the 2nd.

It looks pretty good but I don't think we'll get Huff at 16 and Croyle will be gone before our pick in the 2nd round...the only way to get him will be to move down and take him in the late 1st imo.Kelly Jennings in the 3rd is a dream too....he'll go in the 2nd at the latest imo.But we can all dream.

Ozzy rules!!

after watching yesteday there were two other guys thatc aught my eye..charllie whitehurst qb from clemson looked sharp..i say he moved in the 2nd rd i was more impressed with him the croyle..also on my list is cedric griffin cb from texas who looked good...i think he would be great also for a 2nd pick...that is a big if cause we need a qb 1st..

Whos Croyle compared to?

finfansince72

Huff and Croyle would be amazing, anything after that would just be a bonus, getting these 2 would make the draft awesome in and of themselves. Croyle impressed some people this week. From Mel Kiper's Insider Article on the Senior Bowl:
"Croyle moved from the third or fourth round into the second. He was electric during Wednesday's practice. His arm is outstanding -- as good as any QB I've seen down here in the last few years. He was accurate in the pocket or on the move."..theres been some good arms over the last few years. This guy sounds like a lock to go in the 2nd maybe late 1st.

i think saban needs to address cb/s 1st then qb..if we can lock those two pos up in the 1st two rounds i think we will be fine..im thinking whitehurst impreesed me maybe it is him then croyle

I think QB is a higher need than CB at this point, however alot can change with FA. We need depth at CB but we need that and then some at QB. Whitehurst is still not a 2nd rouner IMO, 3rd at most.

Who will be the Bpa when the Fin Draft at 16 and 48.

Cutler maybe gone

Croyle is probaly not the bpa at 48 if guys like DT Harris, DT Wright, are ILB simms are availible

Jacobs at 48 is a reach I bet If Cutler is off the board at 16 the Fin wont pick a Qb with the first3 picks

Agreed, I was just pointing out that QB and CB are our biggest needs, in that order.

Great call on him!

My sleeper WR that could be like Colston is David Ball of New Hampshire

A year from now we will see how smart I look.

Just did. It says his 40 time is 4.70 thats pretty slow, but you cant argue with those stats they are crazy.

Looked at another site and it says he runs a 4.5

Definitely someone to look at in the later rounds as a backup runningback (for after Ricky is done, which Im guessing is soon) probably going to be the best player available to late in the draft.

I've seen a 4.45 for Race...If he can come in under 4.5...OH MY!!!!!

This is why I love the combine, its great for all the little guys. For the big name players people take it to seriously and take it to mean more than it is. For Ball and Race though it's a chance to show the world they can play with the big guys.
