Looks like the new Civic..

Although still not bad.

Actually I think it looks more like a Mazda 6 front end and an Accord rear.

Looks better. Taking a Mazda 6-ish look to it. I like.

It's an Avalon/Civic hybrid.

I'm waiting on Toyota to come out with a sports car.

That looks sweet, but now Toyota has to come out with a sports car that's not ridiculously priced. A hundred G's for that? Sorry, you get the same amount of performance from a Viper or a Vette for way less.

Looks nice!

Hey Pagan, I was watching channel 21 on cable Monday, and Blackmore's Dreams and Castles came on. It was pretty weird stuff.

Was it his new band? I have all their CDs. Renaissance music. Pretty wild stuff. I met him at the NY Ren Faire a couple of years ago. I have the pic somewhere. ;)

It was the renaissance music and costumes. Very cute blond singer! In an outside stage set up like a castle.

agreed, for that much money I would get something a little classier. Like a Ferrari or a Lambo

From what I understand the Supra rumor is dead..

Although there are rumors about bringing back the rx7.

Mazda is bring back the RX-7. They start working on the Mazdaspeed RX-8 and Mazdaspeed3 then the RX-7 is rumored to be waiting on the doorstep.

Personally, I think the camry looks exactly like a more agressive corolla..... I'll pass. Its got the 40 year old appeal still.

That's his wife. Rock & Roll's been berry, berry good to him. ;)

Is there a smilie giving you the finger?

Foolish grasshopper, 40 year olds don't go for Camrys. We're all zeroing in on mid-life, so we buy Mustangs and Corvettes.

You'll see....it's not too far off for you. :D

And BTW, I stand by my comparison. ;)

Not saying ALL 40 year olds drive Camry's, just Im sure Toyota's targeted audience for the car was older married family people in the 30-50 range. My pops owned his last Camry for 4 years.... he just traded it in a few months ago. He owned a Lexus ES and realized that for the price, the Camry was almost the same exact car.

Im not going to bash the car at all. Toyota's do an incredible job of hitting their target audience and I would put them in the top 2 automakers in the world even though they dont have a single car that I would want to drive, so that must say a lot.

Its a good redesign... the old ones been out for what, 4 year, and it definately looks sportier. It shares some minor simalarities with the base Mazda6 and base Accord, however the SE version pick you posted Im willing to bet for the SE they started with the Corolla front lip and modified it. If I had photoshop on my work computer, I would point out where the 2 front lips are almost identical.

Toyota also always does a very good job with their engines.... the 3.5 L V6, which you dont have pictured, is
rated at 268/248 which is great for a N/A V6.

And just for the record, here are more pics of the non-SE version:

The LE and XLE version, IMO, look exactly like the Avalon.

I liked the last incarnation of the Supra and prefer the old 300Z to the current 350Z. I like the new Mustang a lot but still love the old late 60's Cuda and Mustang. I guess I am one of those slow to change types.:D

I do however currently drive a Camry and I am 40.:)
