movie to start filming later this year. Sutherland also suggests that there will be a 6th season of "24". Which would most likely start filming after the movie is made.

Wow, no breaks? And in two hours there is no telling how many kills Jack gets!:njphins:

Dude... Honestly, I was afraid of this. How in the hell are they gonna keep the cool concept of 24 hours in a 2 hour movie? Bad idea IMO.

What gets me worried is they may try and tie the two seasons together with the movie. Maybe the end of this year, with the beginning of next year. Then people will have to go.

So that would mean that the only similarity with the movie and the show we all love is the title... Sounds like Hollywood :shakeno:.

This upsets me, because the whole idea of 24 is to have a full 24 hour period take place in one season. THEY CAN'T DO THAT WITHIN THE TIMEFRAME OF A MOVIE. But, because title sells, they'll name it that anyway... Even if there's an entirely different cast. It's sad. :refuse:

Man, i don't give a crap. This is an opportunity for the writers to develop a cool and new concept while still staying true to the show... I can't wait.

24:The Movie Plot: Shot in real-time, this exciting movie takes place during 2 hours of Jack Bauer's life.

Follow Jack as he stops at the grocery store to pick up some Little Debbie snacks, milk & toilet paper!

Sit on the edge of your seat as Jack tries to decide which movie to rent at the local video store!

Will Jack find out there's a mole working at the local pizza shop when he stops by to purchase a calzone for dinner?!

During the last half hour, when Jack gets sick off the calzone, there will be a pulse pounding 25 minute one take scene which shows Jack running to the bathroom...only to find the door locked! Will Jack be able to find another bathroom in time before it's too late?...before time runs out?!!

Find out later this year when 24:The Movie hits theaters!

Awww man...you just spoiled the ending!

It ends with Jack running to find a bathroom and stopping at Audrey's house. He busts down the door and enters...Audrey gets up and runs to him and says "Oh Jack, I knew you'd come. I lov..." Jack then interrupts her "We can talk about this later, I'm on a mission...where is the bathroom?" Audrey, now upset, replies "Second door on the left"

Jack then rushes to the bathroom. That's when the famous clock pops up...1:55...1:56..and so on. Then the famous "split screen" technique is used, the upper left panel shows Audrey looking upset...the upper right panel shows Jack sitting on the toilet with a relieved smile on his face...and the bottom panel shows a dancing monkey. The clock then hit 2:00 and the movie ends. Sorry I spoiled it for you. :(

thats exactly how i feel about it, its gonna be hard to fit 24 hrs time period in 2 hrs, should be interesting to see how they will do it

She didn't even get naked in the movie where she was a porn star.

Seriously, the only way to do it would be to make it a real-time movie and make the whole thing happen in two hours.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did just that.

I am actually looking forward to this although I agree, it does kinda blow the whole concept behind 24.

They could name it something like C.T.U and just base it off the Jack Bauer character, but I agree with The Mor...24 shouldn't be in the title. If the point of the movie is just to be able to show Jack graphically torturing people and cursing...then it's a pretty dumb idea IMHO. But with the right script, it could be a fun movie. Maybe even a prequel showing Jacks days before C.T.U. when he was still special forces (but then my C.T.U title wouldn't really work).

I propose they just make the movie 24 hours long. I'm so there! Would need a couple intermissions at least....but I'm willing to sacrifice my health for it.

Maybe a stupid question, but is this going to be a 24 hour movie?

Not likely. To be honest, I think it's gonna be a bridge episode that's longer and more suspenseful. The bridge episode will simply answer questions leading viewers from season 5 to 6.

This season, the bridge episode was a 20 minute Toyota commercial. They probably just want to cash in on it instead of making it commercially sponsored.

Here's this season's bridge:
