Im thinking of buying one, but im not sure if its worth the money. I cant find a good review because people post their links to get them for free.

Whats the battery life on these things like in relation to watching videos? What is the video quality like?

Any tips/reviews/words of advice would be appreciated.

You're already spending $300, spend an extra $40 and get the 60. You will thank me. Battery life is fine, BTW. Mine runs for 1-2 hours a day, 4-5 days before needing a charge.

I started out intending to just buy the 2 gig nano. Then I was like hell, 45 more for 4 gig. Then hell 50 more for 30 gig. Now 60 gig  If Wal-Mart has it I probably will. Gotta love the 10% discount

The Nano is uber-cool too. Geat size for running, the gym.

Yeah, I have the 30 but it's well worth it to get the 60 for that little more.

I have a 6 gig, my son has the 30, he has a problem holding a charge, but I think its because he watches videos alot. They could use more power?

I've tried it, but it's really just the same mediocre stuff you find streanming everywhere . not worth the trouble mostly but once in a while you catch somehting cool..

The wife has the 30GB version, but she hasn't watched a single video on it.

I have the black 60 gig video, it's amazing. I had an older iPod and I used to have the mini, and there is a HUGE difference. I use mine every day, and sometimes I go 2-3 days without charging it...no problem. When you watch a video, the battery goes down a lot, but listen to music or turn it off for a bit, and it'll go right back up.

I put the 30 Gig on layaway at Wal-Mart today, because they dont have the 60 gig. I was wondering, can you get a warranty with these? Or is it only if you buy it through Apple, because I dont want this thing to die in like 3 months and be screwed. Also, do you have to buy a charger for it seperately?

it comes with a 1 year warranty... I believe you can buy extended warranties through apple... but I've never done that..

i have the 30gb video. i love it. i usually watch an entire season of seinfeld or CYE or "the office" while at work in a single day. i love it...got about 3600 songs. would have more, but the video obviously takes up a lot of space.

I just bought a 30 gb ipod w/video, 1,000 songs, takes the hour and a half train ride go quickly. Do yourself a favor, buy it. It is well worth it.

I just bought a 4G iPod Nano yesterday. On iTunes I have 322 songs, which is 1.43G on iTunes. When I transfer them to my iPod it says that I've used up 2.66G & have 1.07G remaining free. I understand that it's actually a 3.7G iPod not a 4G so my question is where the hell are my other 1.2G (3.7G - 1.43G of music - 1.07G of free space)?
