I called Microsoft. After 20 minutes on the phone with someone who spoke english (surprising) she told me that a prepaid UPS box would arrive in 2 days. I shipped my xbox back in that box yesterday. I am now awaiting the arrival of a.) My XBOX (repaired) or b) a new xbox.

What happened? What went wrong? I been reading around when people have problems, and there's some "easy fixes" that I've read the Microsoft Support never told people to try.

Sorry to hear that man. So far my 360 has been doing good, it just likes to lock up on Madden sometimes. I got pretty pissed off at it one time because I was playing a great game and it just locked up on me with like 3 minutes left in the game.

I've had no problems with mine.

One of the things I've been reading about that messes it up is when people turn the machine from the flat position to the standing position while the machine is running.

Is that what you did Spyder? That might be the problem.

I gaurentee that you could get a free controller or something for your inconvenience if you tried.

Damn Spyder, you're having a run of crappy luck huh? Forst your 360, then you're getting text spam. Geez.

Every launch has issues... Remember the PSP launch? Had all those X buttons that were not working. It's normal as long as there isn't a huga amount of problems.

People always attack whatever's new and make a huge deal of it. Believe me, the amount of people having issues with their 360's are an extremely small percentage. Unfortunately, the way humans work... We never remember the good, but the bad is broadcasted as load as can be.

Agreed. I am the same way on some issues though. For instance, restaurants. If I have a good meal at one, I will go back and keep going back. I could eat at a place 49 times with great results, but if, on the 50th time, I have a bad meal/service/etc., I will never go back.

Usually I do though.
