I hadnt heard of this untill I saw it on a commercial the other day

Now if this is going to be a 50 dollar game I am not interested, but if its in the $35 range it excites me a lot

Anyone have any info/screenshots or other details about this?

I hate EB Games, but it's a quick way to look up release dates and prices. It looks like it will be a $29.99 title.

This is the first I have heard about it. But a game can really increase the popularity of the ACTUAL game. This could be a boost for the arena league.

I thought this game was out already?? I saw the promos on a site a few months ago. It actually looks good because you can throw guys over the walls and stuff. It has some cool looking tackle mode too.

The game's out and already been reviewed, and it wasn't kind. Basically they said the game sucks.

Actually, I have seen a bunch of good reviews on it. Haven't played it so I can't give my personal opinion, but a few friends say its fun, and IGN gave it an 8.0 with the "average reader score" being a 9.7, which is pretty damn good for a "gimmick" football game if you ask me. I'll probably check it out, maybe even pick it up just because it looks like it'd be a blast to play with friends. Here's the link to IGN's review.

*SIDENOTE* I don't usually go by IGN's reviews, or base anythign solely on them, but I do check out the reader scores since they are usually a more accurate rating to me than IGN's rating, and the reader score on this is pretty damn high, lol.

Whats next, Brock Berlin: NFL Europe 2007. Actualy not a terrible idea, you can sync up your Madden, NCAA, and Berlin games and you can draft out of college, sign out of the Arena game and allocate a player to NFL Europe:lol:

I got it yesterday, and I think it's a real good game. I wasn't sure how I'd like it seeing as I'm only mildly interested in the AFL and I usually like playing defense more than offense in video games, but it's a fun game.

Being able to switch between controlling the QB or one of the three receivers before the snap is pure gold. I use it alot near the goal line when I need to react to their coverage and get in the open. It's got to end up in Madden and NCAA as far as I'm concerned.

The hits are a tad arcade-ish at times. A guy will get hit and seem to get about 6 feet in the air, but it's no big deal, the rest of the game is spot on.

according to that it's an 8.0 and according to "reader polls" it's a 9.7, definately worth at LEAST a rent with those ratings.

I think this game is a great idea because EA can try out different things with this game and if successful incorporate them into Madden. I like the AFL, certainly not as much as the NFL but its a decent game to watch in its own right. The game has a lot of potential to be a fun game, kind of like the all out score fests that were early madden/tecmo games, those were great to play with friends. I like the strategy and thoughtful play of the current NFL games but sometimes a good ole fashioned 64-63 arcade style slugfest is fun too.

Lemme know how it is man? I wanna try it out but I don't want it to be like Blitz but with licensed teams. The "big hits" don't bother me much but I can't STAND how arcady Blitz feels, very loose, juking during runs is impossible, passes hang for years, I don't even wanna bother with AFL if it feels like that. However, if it has Madden-like controls but there are big, arcady type hits that won't bother me.

I hear you on that Agent.....I got Blitz for Christmas and I've played it maybe 10 times and now I don't touch it. It's ridiculous.

How were the controls? Did it feel like Madden (tight controls) or NFL Fever/Blitz (loose, arcady controls)?
