Why have caddy?

The same reason we have Ricky, we need two good HBs, but I traded him last season with JT for Daunte and a 1st round pick

The Salary Cap is 119m in the 2007 season, my Team Salary is 111.8m an I still have 7.18m of cap room

Actually, if it followed ACTUAL rules. 2007 is an uncapped year so you could have whatever you like as your salary number.

I try to keep it realistic on purpose. If I have success with great players I traded for, it takes some of the fun out :(

Amen, I try to keep it as close to a simulation as possible. I will not make any trades that would not happen in real life. Plus when Im playing I will not call the same offensive play more than once a half.

Same here, I try to keep it real. Like I would trade Reggie Howard but I wouldn't trade Jason Taylor for a first rouinder or something, that just strikes me as cheating.

As far as rosters go, I don't feel like turning it on right now, lol, but off the top of my head my roster is SOMETHING like this (with imported NCAA players since I'm like 3 or 4 seasons in):

QB: Jay Cutler

HB: Jason Almeida (me, lol), Ronnie Brown

FB: ??

WR: Steve Smith (USC Steve Smith, not Carolina Panthers), Chris Chambers, Limas Sweed

TE: Randy McMike

Oline: Max Jean-Gilles, ??

Dline: Matt Roth, ??

LBs: Channing Crowder, ??

DBs: Ashton Youboty, ??

FS: ??

SS: Lance Small (a "hometown hero" where I grew up, graduated high school a year before I got there but played D2 football at URI and ran a football camp where I met and became good friends with him and got a LOT of pointers. He was going to transfer to Virginia Tech for his Jr and Sr seasons on full scholarship til he got busted for dealing cocaine and is now in prison :shakeno: )

The ??s are spots I can't remember off the top of my head, I'll post a full roster next time I play.

I basically run the same 5 plays the whole game and put up between 30 to 50 points, I play 7 minute all madden quarters

And I play the same base 4-3 defense the whole game to, I hate the 3-4 I hate nickle I hate dime....I love the 4-3

Thanks , that's actually a good idea. I've always found Madden way too easy.

How did you get TWO first rounders?

I also got 2 first rounders, 2nd and 3rd pick actually, the game is very very dumb trading draft picks, and it's easier when you have the trade deadline off, just wait until the last game of the regular season.

Well I know HOW you can get two first rounders, lol, by cheating or making really unrealistic trades, I meant who he traded to get the other one. I should've worded it differently.

Saban resigned after 3 SBs saying something like "Im running out of fingers for all these rings".

I hired Cowher as HC, Moore as OC and Dungy as DC.

I pretty much keep the roster intact. However, I signed Kelly Campbell to be my third receiver and return kickoffs and punts. Welker sucks on the game, so I had to replace him. It's funny that we actually signed Kelly Campbell in real life. Also I play a balanced defensive playbook so I that I can line up in some 3-4 sets (Traylor at NT, with Holiday and Carter at the End positions, the linebackers are JT, Crowder, Thomas, and Seau). In the secondary, I start Madison and Poole at the corners, with Shulters and Jones at the safety spots.
