My Mom is from Belgium and she makes the best Belgium Waffles. She has some old waffle irons and makes this really great batter.....if you have had fresh made warm Belgium waffles you will never go back to Hot cakes or flap jacks. I like my waffles with maple syrup though. :D

If everybody compares things to "selling like hot cakes", I think I need to get into the hot cake selling business. I'll make a fortune.

Wafflehouse is the greatest.. I ate breakfast there yesterday.. From my apartment there are 2 wafflehouses within a mile and there was a 3rd but they scraped the whole shopping center.. Best breakfast food hands down..

I'd probably be there every weekend after being at the bar all night, but luckily there's a Denny's down the road.

Oh yeah, pancakes.

strawberry milkshake flavored pop tarts

I think the fellow that came up with pop tarts was a culinary genious. Brown sugar & cinamon, and cherry...masterpieces!

I was so disappointed. I was in Montreux, Switzerland, last week and got a crepe for dessert before I saw the lovely waffles sitting there.

I'm a pancake fan, though. Strawberries and whipped cream, cinnamon apples, or pecans are really good.

Pancakes at the Charlestown Cafe, and good syrup. Finest kind.

Original Pancake House is pretty good too.

Waffles because they have those craters to hold in the butter and other good stuff AND, I like that they stay crunchy

I like them both about the same, but pancakes are alittle bit better. Chocolate chip pancakes are the best pancakes ever!

I visited Switzerland a few times as a kid....beautiful country. My dad was stationed in Northern Italy so we drove up there a lot. Never been to Montreux. In Brussels they bring out these waffles coated with this white fluffy powder and different types of syrup. I can still remember the smell of the place mmmmm. Good stuff.
