View Full Version : Best Homeless/Begger Sign You Have Ever Seen?

Hey guys, I was walking downtown (Honolulu) last night with some friends and I saw the greatest "begger" sign EVER. I gave the guy $50 and asked if I could get a picture with him. The best part was, after the camera went off the guy FREAKED out, he was goin nuts because he "hates flashes man". Here's the guy, the sign, me, and some confused looking Hawai'ian on a moped in the backround, lol:

Has anyone else seen any really good ones that just make you crack up, or say "WTF"? I've seen a lot of good ones in my travels, but this one has to be the best, and it's only like 20 minutes from my house, lol.

Ive seen people with that sign before, its pretty funny

People around here dont have signs, they just ask for money usually, and if I have it I usually give it

Back in the days when I drove a delivery truck in Manhattan, it was POURING rain one morning. There was this guy on the corner with a sign that said (and the spelling is exactly how he had it)

"Do to inklement weather, I cannot clean your windsheeld. How about some money anyway?"

Another time there was a guy with "To hell with food, need money for booze and a hooker."

I gave him a fiver.

a friend of mine in Indianapolis makes fake 10$ bills, looks like a 10 spot on one side, and on the back has a list of the homeless shelters and addresses, he hands those out whenever he goes downtown. Kinda mean. But He actually means well, that's the only way you can get them to take anything other than money.

Maybe he should make it look like a 10 spot on both sides, and send me about 10000 of them......

At the 16th Street turnoff going into the LoDo area of Denver I saw some guy holding a sign saying he basically needed money for beer. I liked his honesty and gave him some money.

No interesting signs besides the ones already mentioned. I have noticed that the homeless in Toronto are insanely nice compared to the dicks down here. Even if you totally ignore them they still thank you, whereas down here (Tempe) they are typically my age and just ****ing lazy ******* who talk **** when you don't give them money. Scum.

There was one guy in Toronto near the library I was researching at that was incredibly nice. Gave him coffee everyday I saw him (I never give them money).

You know the bums I am talking about then. Lazy hippie *******. They all migrate to Mill during the day and sit on the side of the street making their stupid *** bead jewelry. I genuinely care about what happens to many homeless people because many are mentally ill, but these punks need to get hit by a train.

The subject isn't too hard to figure out. You just have to watch too much tv and too many movies for an average person.

Oh ok, Well, you just told me that I had a plephora, and I just wanted to know if you knew what it means to have a plephora. I would not like to think that someone would tell someone else he has a plephora, and then find out that that person has *no idea* what it means to have a plephora.

Some of these posts cause you to wonder if honesty really is the best policy. Aside from that I once saw a couple of teenagers with a sign on Washington Avenue in South Beach that read "Nobody loves us, please give us money so that we can get drunk and forget."
