I was wondering what colleges members currently attend or graduated from (tell what year). Right now, I'm a senior at the University of Kentucky.

If I stick with Geology as my major, then I can go anywhere for grad. school. But if I go to Culinary school, after my B.S., it will be off to the Gulf Coast Culinary Institute.

See, I think of it as a hobby!

I went back after 24 years away this past Sept! What a shock to my system!

But the kids love the old man!

The best was when I walked into class with an I-pod, I put it on my desk and start getting my notebook together. This girl (maybe 19) looks at the I-pod and says is that yours or your sons? (She knew I had kids from talking with her). I say it mine, she says, man, my dad could never figure out how to use one of those things!:boohoo:

Kind of confusing at this point. I was accepted to police academy but I just tore my ACL so that is on hold(best case scenario, I may be out all together). Regardless, it has been on my mind for a while now but I am considering attending the Paul Hall Centre for Maritime Education in Piney Point, Maryland. I actualy have a meeting on Monday at the union hall in Miami. I grew up in a family of shipmen and would love to give it a shot before commiting my life to law enforcement

Maybe that knee is going to end up being a life changer for you. Personally, I'd rather spend my time on the sea rather than being knee deep in negativity and danger all day.

It sounds corny, but some people believe things happen for a reason every once and a while.

They don't have a part-time program for mature students? If not, have you thought about other schools?

I just graduated (in December) from New York University... I am considering Grad School at USC, Columbia or AFI.... Hopefully USC or AFI

By the way any of you know how to register online to the GRE's? I have been trying to find that with not much luck (being in a different country seems to make it more difficult) they give me a phone number, but it is in Maryland, and I really don't want to make a long distance phone call from Mexico to the US (since it will probably take a while, and honestly I don't want to spend so much on a phone call)
