I agree, and then the fact that they held it for 3 days :shakeno: . I hope IF any of the checks bounced/the mortgage was late the bank doesn't charge them for it.

I read about it this morning. Those 3 days must have sucked for them.

Burger King should take care of any penalties they occured with bounced checks and or late payment.

That would be so weird if Burger King paid their Mortgage, lol. I know they'd just pay the late fee, but it'd be WAY funnier to be like "yea, Burger King paid my mortgage this month"

That would be a good PR move. The press they'll get from that will be good.

Dude, that thing ROCKS! It's been back for awhile actually, on the value menu. I found much better though, actually, I INVENTED much better. The Rodeo burger was my favorite when it first came out then they took it away (just like the Club Chalupa at Taco Bell, bring that back, it was the greatest thing EVER!) so I started getting a double bacon cheeseburger and an order of onion rings and sides of BBQ and putting onion rings and BBQ on the double bacon cheeseburger, making a super double rodeo with bacon, and to this day it is what I get everytime I go to BK.

Well I grew up in RI so there wasn't a Hardees, and I don't eat fast food often and out here I have never seen a Hardees, and if I go fast food now it's Jack In The Box which is my absolute favorite fast food place, in terms of BK/Mickey Ds type places. Sometimes I'll hit KFC or Arbys. Usually if I want a quick meal while out it's Subway though, much healthier, lol. In fact, I don't think I've ever even BEEN to a Hardees. What was a Frisco Burger?

Hardees = Carl's Jr.

Yea man, especially when drunk, lol. I swear the Club Chalupa may have been my favorite fast food item EVER, from ANY fast food place. I used to get em all the time, TOO often actually, as I don't each much fats food, haha. I remember one day I walked in and gave my usual order for 2 with a side of nachos and a root beer and the kid was like "we don't have them anymore". My world stopped, lol. I have seriously not been back to Taco Bell since, and I will not return until they bring it back, which kinda sucks because that Crunch Wrap Supreme thing looked pretty tasty :lol: . I found a recipe to make Chalupa shells online, thinking I'd just make homemade ones. Yea, no, they taste and look like chalupa shells, but they aren't as flexable, so you try to fold it into the taco shell shape and the bottom just rips and then everything falls out :( . I spent almost a damn month trying to perfect them but to no avail, I got them much better than the first attempt, but they still weren't like Taco Bell's.

Hardees = Carl's Jr.

I know they are run by the same company, and the websites look the same, and they have the same star logo, lol, but do they have the same menu? I've been to plenty of Carl's Jrs, they have a few out here and they have this badass breakfast sandwich that is like egg, bacon and hash brown, mmmm, lol. Anyway, if they are the same menu too I have never had a Frisco Burger, nor do I recall ever even seeing it.

If he had said something right there when it happened then they could have fixed it. The money should have never made it out of his bank because that night when the manager closed out the credit card machine they should have noticed it and fixed it then. Even at shift change someone should have noticed it then. I'm not saying it did'nt happen but it's hard to believe that three or four people did'nt notice the resturant was $4300 over for the day.

I think that's what happened (they looked at the reciept and noticed it) but the charge had already gone through and they couldn't undo it. The article says the manager tried to put the money back on the card but the bank wouldn't let him.

At some fast food restaraunts they dont give out cc receiops unless you ask...I know I never get one when I go to McD's, just a receipt that says what i ordered not any prices

Carls Jr does have the same items as Hardees, atleast the ones I have been to are the same...

And Jack in the box is by far the best Fast Food anywhere, with the exception of maybe In and Out...

Roman529
03-28-2006, 08:51 PM
Aren't you only responsible for the first $50 of a bill if you dispute it? They don't have any Jack in the Boxes here anymore, and Carl's Jr bought out Hardees. They have a new burger chain here called Fatburger that is really good...I think they mainly have these in California.

You are my new favorite poster, lol. I love how JitB has breakfast stuff ALL DAY. And that Ciabata double bacon cheeseburger thing, oh wow, haha. Plus they let you sub a shake into your value meal with no hassle, most other places get confused and it looks like their heads are gonna explode or something when you ask to sub a shake in for a soda. They are like "we don't make shakes that big (if you super/biggie/king etc size)" and you are like "i don't want one that big, just gimme a small, i don't care, i just want a shake instead of soda" and they go "but you super-sized it, it comes with a super sized coke" and im like "i will still PAY for the super size, just GIVE me a small, geez, i don't need 12 gallons of soda" and then they have to go get the manager, lol. Usually I order everything seperate JUST to avoid this hassle. Sidenote: If you order everything seperate it can be wicked funny to go through the drive through, order one thing, then circle around and order the next, one at a time til you have everything you need. It's great, and it cures boredome when all else fails and you are hungry

Nobody has answered what a Frisco Burger from Hardees was yet :confused: :D

burger on two texas-toast style buttered and grilled sourdough bread slices with bacon, Swiss cheese, tomato and a kind of a onion-flavored mayonnaise...

Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): And you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris?
Jules (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000168/): They don't call it a Quarter Pounder with cheese?
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): No man, they got the metric system. They wouldn't know what the **** a Quarter Pounder is.
Jules (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000168/): Then what do they call it?
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): They call it a Royale with cheese.
Jules (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000168/): A Royale with cheese. What do they call a Big Mac?
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): Well, a Big Mac's a Big Mac, but they call it le Big-Mac.
Jules (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000168/): Le Big-Mac. Ha ha ha ha. What do they call a Whopper?
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): I dunno, I didn't go into Burger King.

Haha, Taco Bell (or any mexican/spicy foods) doesn't do that to me. I tell ya what does though, freakin' CHINESE food man. IDK why, but that stuff goes right through me. It's soo good though, lol, General Tso's, the Teriyaki Beef on a stick, and those boneless red spare rib things, mmmmmm
