2 was good, the writer/director died during the making of 3, but they are going through with it...

Edit: mabe he didnt die, I tried to find details of his death, but found nothing..

In my opinion Saw 1 was better, however, 2 has a great plot twist as well, it certainly wouldn't be a waste of time. I enjoyed both but i'd rate 1 slightly higher.

No he's not dead. Don't know where that rumor came from. He only directed the first one but is producing the sequels. He was my age when he directed Saw...makes me feel like I've done nothing with my life :shakeno: lol

SAW 2 is way better than SAW, IMO. And I thought the director did die?

I think Saw II was better than the first, both great movies. I like those type of horror movies because they COULD happen, not like vampires and werewolfs where you know it would never happen, so the fact that it is plausible makes it scarier.

Dude I didn't even know they were making a 3rd til I read this thread, haha. I mean, I THOUGHT they would prolly make another one after the way the 2nd ended but I had never read any confirmation

House of Wax was WRETCHED. I saw it in theatres, it was the 3rd day it was out and me and my girl were the only two thee, and the ticket lady pretty much told us it was a horrible movie before we went it.

Speaking of bad remakes, anyone see The Hills Have Eyes? Oh my GOD it BLOWS! When I first saw the trailers I couldn't WAIT for it to come out and then it did come out and I went to see it, :shakeno: , I will never get those 2hrs back. It had pretty good gore, but HORRIBLE acting, absolutely HORRID.

Hey hey hey, the Just Friends I saw (with Ryan Reynolds of Van Wilder fame) was a good movie. I THOUGHT it was gonna be total chick flick with some comedy but it actually wasn't, it was more of a comedy with some chick flick stuff. I refuse to see The Notebook though,
