Packers |Team visits with Arrington. Mon, 10 Apr 2006 18:03:36 -0700
<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/9">ESPN.com's John Clayton (http://www.kffl.com/link/125) reports the Green Bay Packers (http://www.kffl.com/team/17/nfl) visited with free agent LB LaVar Arrington (http://www.kffl.com/player/1917/nfl) (Redskins) Monday, April 10. Signing Arrington or free agent CB Charles Woodson (http://www.kffl.com/player/1380/nfl) (Raiders) may be what QB Brett Favre (http://www.kffl.com/player/764/nfl) is looking for before he commits to playing the 2006 season. Arrington left without an offer while the Packers (http://www.kffl.com/team/17/nfl) decide what to do. Arrington was excited enough about the visit that he wanted to talk to Favre.

"He wants warm weather...wants a place to raise his children".....so he decides that greenbay is the best fit, with an aweful team...and a city where the temp is eternaly below freezing, and the city isnt even a city, its a town..because its so small

If they can sign both Charles Woodson and Lavar Arrington, then I see them drafting TE Vernom Davis at #5. Green Bay has the cap to overpay Lavar. They still need to solve their WR issues; running back isn't much of a problem. Green can still carry the load.

With all Green Bays cap space this is not good
