We met recently with the George Mason basketball player... Jai Lewis. He is converting to TE in the NFL...

What do you guys think?

See what he does. Hope he doesn't get drafted (which is likely). Sign him. See what he does in camp.

I see him being drafted late. Someone will take a chance on him. Everyone is so caught up in the b-ball player to TE in hopes of finding the next Tony Gonzalez or Antonio Gates that it's so enticing and hard to pass up with Jai's athletic ability. The kid is 6-7 275 with agility and hands. He could play either TE or DE with coaching.

Yeah I think taking him as an undrafted free agent would be fine but it would be a wast of a pick if we drafted another TE. We are heavy at tight end as it is. McMike, Pelle, Holmes, Johnson and those last three guys all have a shot to make the team.

He has the perfect measurables for a DE.

i heard alot of scouts say that he would be better suited playing OL... im not to thrilled about it.. i take it as he doenst have great hands or any explosiveness to play D line...
