Being the cynical bastard that I am sometimes, I cant help but wonder if money help keep this case alive or if it was more luck than anything. it would be a shame if money was a big factor, the police should have all the resources they need regardless. I personally think it was simply good fortune, but something to ponder.

Anyway, it's GREAT that's she's ok regardless of why. Sorry, it just bugs me that they aren't all found.

Religiously speaking... she's my little sister.

Faith, precedes the miracle!

Something truly sad is... the man first arrested in this case died in jail of an aneurysm.

I know there were some unanswered questions concerning his trip into the desert the day after her abduction, but it appears he was innocent.

Thank the Lord this little girl made it back home to her family.

The first suspect who died in jail wasn't exactly a saint. He was picked up in the first place on a parole violation stemming from fresh burglary/theft charges. I don't think he was claiming it was a "one armed man"..

I suppose you right 1227. Everyones guilty of something.

That's one more menace to society the state of Utah doesn't have to spend money prosecuting.

Anyway, we can't bring him back so it's time to move on.

I am glad to see she is safe at home.He must have really had her scared for her not to do anything to escape when they were in public.

12 year old kid? All it probably took was "be good or we'll kill your parents and sister".

She was 14 when she was abducted and her b'day passed while she was with the creatins.

But there is a syndrome that happens to kidnapped victims called the "stockholm syndrome" that after a while the victim feels empathy for the abductor almost to the fact that after they are found and reunited with their families will protect the abductor. Almost to the point of defending them. This is also what happened to Patty Hurst when she was kidnapped by the SLA.

This little girl will need VERY extensive therapy for years to come. I'm glad they found her alive but we won't really ever know the extent of how "well".

"Breathing" almost always beats "not breathing". At least now she has a chance to recieve therapy.

Yea...according to the news, when she was abducted this guy told her he would kill her parents if she made any noise or tried to alert anyone. I don't know the mind set of this little girl... but maybe that's what she was afraid of.
