Welcome,

If you are reading this you have found Finheaven's official discussion of Day 1 of the 2006 NFL Draft!

Here is the lineup for the Dolphins entering today. Original pre-trade picks are listed below, with active selections in bold. Using my fuzzy math skills...the latest the Dolphins will possibly be on the clock in the first round (assuming the Dolphins don't trade up/down/out in first round), will be at 3:45 pm Eastern. Let's hope it comes sooner, rather than later.

DOLPHINS DRAFT CHOICES
1 DOLPHINS (16)
2 to Minnesota for QB Daunte Culpepper (51)
3 DOLPHINS (82)
4 DOLPHINS (114)
5 Exercised in 2005 supplemental draft for Manny Wright (149)
6 to San Diego in Cleo Lemon-A.J. Feeley trade (188)
7a DOLPHINS (212)
from Green Bay in Brad Bedell trade
7b DOLPHINS (226)
7c DOLPHINS (233)
(from Chicago in John Owens-Brendon Ayanbadejo trade)

Remember to abide by the T.O.S., there are no exceptions. On high-traffic days like this, the staff is stressed...so if you think something may be against TOS, you're best-advised to not post it.

Let's have some fun today guys and gals!

I still can't see why they signed a banged up Brees for all that money when they have their pick of Leinart or Young in this draft. They already have a great RB in McAllister. I would either take Ferguson here or trade down if I were them.

If you were a Texans fan you'd boo too. Hell, I was booing last night when I read it. A good DE doesn't win as many games as a good RB. Thats how Ricky carried (no pun intended) our team for 2 years and not Jason Taylor.
