He's known as Jake the Dancing Kid and has made quite a stir in the stands at Detroit Pistons (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/nba/teams/pistons) home games.

Jacob Binke, a 7-year-old first-grader, has become a fixture at The Palace of Auburn Hills, with his enthusiastic, polished, shirtless dance performances.
With national television attention during the NBA playoffs, he finds strangers sometimes stopping him.

"They say, 'Are you the dancing kid?"' he told The Detroit News. When he says yes, a number ask for his autograph, Jake said.

He signs, "Jake the Dancing Kid."

Jacob, whose family lives in Oakland County's West Bloomfield Township, near Detroit, also is a knowledgeable Pistons enthusiast who can recite players' names, measurements and statistics.

His favorite player: Chauncey Billups (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/nba/players/3174).
