I'd probably say, "Oh look, Ricky ran for 1,000 yards in the CFL and ran for 1,600 in the NFL."

That his style of play doesnt fit in the CFL, or it will depend if he doesnt get the right # of handoffs

But that wont happen, he will never get enough carries here to gain that yardage

He'll get more than 1,000 yards in the CFL. Trust Me. He won't get 1600 yards in the NFL when he returns though.

What would Phin fans say if the league was so scared of us and what were doing we are now attracting GB fans to our best site?J/k I say more power to them. But aren't the cfl feilds larger than NFL and made for playmakers more than the NFL feilds?

especially not being behind Ronnie Brown...It amazes me alot of people here stick up for the quitter, when you have abetter RB in Ronnie Brown.

There will be many happy Phin fans if he racks up that amount of yardage. I cant see it personally as Ronnie is the main guy now and Ricky will have limited carries and will probably be trade bait by then.

I support Ricky as a person, but I want Ronnie to be the featured back here, maybe even trade Ricky

Pringle, a seven-time all-star and two-time winner of the league's outstanding player award, has rushed for 1,000 or more yards in eight of the last 10 years entering the 2004 season. He is the only player in CFL history ever to surpass 2,000 yards rushing in a season (2,065 yards in 1998 with Montreal).

you see, that wouldn't work b/c if Ricky ran for 1000 yards in Canada, he'll only run for about 908 yards in the NFL. Stupid Canadian Conversion rates!!

I'd say one of two things that would be applicable....

1) Oh, poor Ricky sustained an injury while playing in Canaduh, just his luck again

or

2) The Argo OL must really suck snot

That good enough for ya? :rolleyes2

THE CFL IS A PASS HAPPY LEAGUE. He wont even get the amount of carries for him to reach major yards like that. He'll get alot of his yards thru the passing game. Plus when he returns, he's backing up Ronnie Brown so he still wont get anywhere near 1600 yards unless Ronnie gets injured and misses serious time.
