lol. I don't watch the show. So I couldn't recall his name. I saw him once singing a Creed song and it was awful. Worse than Scott Stapp.

I guess he was just bad that night, from all the pub he's getting.

American Idol guy

actually that is pretty funny. If Wharf where to say his real name I would be like "WHO?"

he should go by the artist "American Idol guy who turned down fuel"... he would probably be better reconized as that.

The "50 year old" guy was cool. Whenever he sang it looked like he was doing the Sulu dance.

If you ask me, Gaylord Hicks or whatever his name was was ****ing awful. He had no bounce in his voice and he danced like a chicken. Katharine McPhee's breasts should've won.

Pretty damn good? His vibrato sounded like a wounded goat. :shakeno:

Not sure who said it, but it was on here, I paraphrase, "Chris sounds like just about every voice we heard throughout the 90's." It's true, that grunge type sound is much over used and has had its day.

Well, personally I was thinking the best move for him as an individual would be to take that gig. Because he can use the big name to build a profile which will open many doors later on for a solo career. It would also give him some help in learning to write songs. I really have a feeling Chris was told he couldn't do it by his Idol contract. It's very restrictive and even the non-winners are screwed when it's all said and done.

I thought it was you, but I didn't want to say because that skull avatar scares me.

Nothing to be scared of, just part of the CD cover of the album I'm recording for Tombztone. :rawk:

This would've been a HUGE mistake.....6 years ago. Fuel is about as relevant as Vertical Horizon.

Vertical Horizon. I knew they were doomed from the start because the singer wore the same shirt every day. That Matrix code looking thing.

Every photo, every performance on TV.....there was that shirt. And his pale, bald head. Looked like Ed Kowalczyk and Billy Corgan had a baby.

His bands going to be followed now because its chris daughtrys band...so he'll be able to contribute what he wants to rock n roll right now. Hes got a great voice too

He has a great voice.

But the constant vibrato is AWFUL. I can't believe Fuel went so nuts over that song. It could have been so much better. He needs to sing that song straight.

I like the guy. But I'll never be a fan of his if that's the way he sings everything. It's overdone.

Ask yourself Budd...does the world really need another Feul or Creed?

C'mon now.
