just got turned on to these guys after seeing them on conan a few weeks ago - they did the song woman and crushed it...

When I first heard "Woman', I thought I was listening to a lost Zeppelin track circa 1973 :lol: They definitely wear their influences on their sleeve...and there's not a damn thing wrong with that.

another "retro" band to check out is Dungen. they have a very vintage 70s rock sound. if you can get past the swedish singing you'll love it. ;)

I agree that Wolfmother rocks plain and simple! They have fun while doing it and sorof remind me of zeppelin meets sabbath meets cream! Very raw!

Ya i got there CD a while ago from my uncle's boss. i guess he's got the hook ups. they rule! they were just on Letterman last night. i had to stay up and watch them.
