What's the best movie you've seen in the past year?
For me, I have to go with V for Vendetta. The action scenes are great, the dialogue is very enjoyable but the plot... Oh, man is the plot good. Any history buff or 1984 fanatic will have a great time drawing parallels between the characters in the movie and dictators of the past.
I don't go to the movies much anymore because most movies seem to suck (horror movies especially, there's a new one every other day) but V For Vendetta was incredible and I highly recommend it.

1 thru 15 where high quailty, good writting, had a good smooth pace to it, good acting, and good dialogue.

15 thru 20 just became redundant.

Crash - You go away from this movie thinking about racism and how it affects everyone. One of the better movies I have ever seen.

Malibu's Most Wanted might be the worst movie ever made. It's up there with Gigli.

V for Vendetta was very good. I just saw MI:3 and enjoyed it. Going back a little farther, National Treasure was great.

I agree with everything you just said, except National Treasure which I've yet to see. MI:3 was surprisingly good.

I actually thought MI3 was overdone, over acted and too over the top. My girl literally fell asleep. Didn't like it at all.

Loved it! I'm a Johnny Cash fan and thought Joaquin Phoenix did a hell of a job playing him, it kind of bothered me that he couldn't learn a few chords to play for the movie. The entire movie goes by and they never show him playing guitar (well, once but he doesn't move his hands), I'm assuming because he doesn't know how.

I hated that movie. The entire thing was so stupid, in my opinion. I guess it's all that stoner humor I don't understand because.... well, I'm not a stoner.
There was one part I always laugh at, when he's daydreaming and he pictures the other guy getting shot at and says "Bullets! My only weakness!"

Agreed. I made the one-time mistake of buying the DVD without having seen it before. The way people talked about it, you figured it was the second coming of Christ or something. Now I have a crappy DVD sitting on my entertainment system.
