As most of you have probably already heard, NBC reporter David Bloom, who was covering the war in Baghdad died Sunday from a blood clot.

He was traveling with troops about 25 miles south of Baghdad when he suddenly collapsed. He was then airlifted to a nearby field medical unit, where he was pronounced dead from a pulmonary embolism.

Bloom was a very good and dedicated journalist that cared very much about what he did. He died doing what he did best.

He will be greatly missed by those in the media, and those who saw him on T.V.

39 is awfully damn young for a blood clot! of course 49 is pretty damn young for a heart attack!
