Here's what i think who will make the playoffs:

NFC:

North: Chicago (strong defense in a weak division)
South: Tampa Bay (solid D over years, improving, young offense is only getting started)
East: Dallas (T.O., Glenn and a healthy Jones is a great offense)
West: Seattle (not that good anymore, but weak division)
Wild Card: Carolina, Arizona (both great offenses, Arizona with new stadium and Edge, i think they can finally make something happen)

AFC:

North: Cincinnatti (if Palmer will be back by the season opener, they have a dangerous offense with rudy and chad)
South: Indianapolis (if JAX hadn't lost Jimmy, i would go with the Jaguars this year)
East: Miami (New England's done, Miami's close future is looking bright so far, with Brown, Chambers, Culpepper and McMichael who will be used much more now that C Pep has arrived at home downsouth)
West: Denver (strong on both sides of the ball, i think they have a good chance of making it all the way to the big game this season)
Wild Card: Jacksonville (solid D, might have a REALLY good year if Fred can finally stay healthy), Pittsburgh

I think that static's and in flames pics are prettu accurate!. I'll post mine soon! Phillyphans aren't bad either except no way that carolina finishes 3rd, unless major injuries! Saints and Titans in playoffs seems a little early too!

To me that isn't really a crazy pick. They actully have lost quite a bit. They lost their pounder in Jerome Bettis, probably their best "play maker" in Antwan Randel El and one of their best defensive backs Chris Hope. Don't forget about Big Ben's motorcylce accident, which I think will play a significant roll in Ben's performance.

You're only 13, but you need to hear some constructive critisism. These might be the worst picks I've seen yet.

You have Tennesee and Baltimore both beating out New England, Cincinnati and Kansas City for playoff spots. I'll bet a ton of money on that not happening. To pick one of those teams is gutsy, to pick both, is obsurd.

As for your NFC picks, you have the best team in the NFC and maybe football missing the playoffs. The Panthers, barring a couple major injuries, are locks to make the playoffs. In your NFC South you have the 2 worst teams at the top IMO. Atlanta uprgraded that defense big time and in that division there is no way the Saints break .500 this year. My last burn, you got Washington finishing last in that division? That's a little nuts too buddy.

But hey, the rest looks good.

...and don't forget Roethlisberger sure didn't win the SB. He sucked badly. This year it gets worse, IMO.

Of course, I've been known to be wrong in my predictions...

LOL! I think we're all guilty of being wrong of football predictions in the past. But I do agree, I have the Steelers missing the playoffs this year. The AFC is going to be very tough and I think the Cheifs and Patriots will be the wildcard teams. Division winners being Miami, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Denver of course.

Chris Hope is gone
the bus is gone
Randle El is gone
Big Ben is not 100%

plus the Steelers weren't exactly a dominant team in the first place, with the emergerence of the Ravens the Steelers have tough competition

Not dominant? They've gone 31-7 in the past two years, including playoffs.

Ben is 100% ready, Bettis said that in his interview. They can easily replace Bettis with Haynes, Staley, and Parker.

I don't think they'll miss the playoffs because of their #3 WR, and a safety, though.

Well, he would know Ben better than anybody.

And he's been hanging out with Ben ever since the accident occured, so I'm sure he knows a lot about it.

so what if Bettis said it, if you listen to the players and coaches. Culpepper, Palmer, Brees and McNabb will all be ready in time for week 1 and thats not gonna happen
