Come ON people!! Where's the anti-war, anti-Bush rhetoric? Why aren't we seeing any posts here about what a terrible idea the war is? What about it's impact on the economy? Moral outrage about civilian deaths!! There were at least 5-6 posts per DAY trouncing Bush, and the war just a few weeks ago, but now BUPKIS!! What's the deal? What has changed? Where oh where is the "opposition"? It's no fun having a discussion/argument if both sides aren't represented!! And it's no fair if you only express your views when it's "popular".

COME ON BACK HERE AND FIGHT PEACE LOVERS!!!!!;)

(bearing in mind that all of us are "peace lovers", but that seems to be an acceptable label for those who oppose this war and/or any war... )

Did you really expect a bunch of extreme pacifists to come and take their lumps?

Notice I put in the word extreme, because I consider myself a quasi pacifist, that is I believe violence isn't the answer......until it is the only answer. This war vs Iraq was the only way. It's called reality.

There aren't any lumps to taken though. If the arguments against the war were valid then, they should still be valid now. Nothing has changed just because the war is entering the mop up phase. Heck, this is the most dangerous PART of the war. If anything, the anti-war folks should be out in droves.

After seeing the statue of Sadamm fall, and all the attrocites commited by Iraq in the war, I dont see how anyone could still be opposed to it. I know if I was, I'd be embarrassed right now. But I would still post my thoughts and explain how I feel I'm still right or admit that I was wrong.

But they knew there were attrocities being committed, and they responded by saying that "it wasn't our job" to interfere. Again, I don't see anything that's changed in the last three weeks that should cause those oppossed to the war to disapear.

Trust me, there are still many of these anti-war protesters that are in denial and won't accept they we're wrong.

Even with the evidence pilling up on them.

Migs...I'm of the belief that these hard cores are ...totaly dedicated to their cause. Their cause has really never been about the war. It has been about their deep hatred for America. It is inconcievable to me how anyone can hate this country but alot of people living here do.

I hear you, but I know some people that don't hate this country like you say but still oppose it like I say.

Everyone is different of course.

I'm just really fed up with these people that hate this country and still live here.

Migs, there are a lot of GOOD people that don't support the war. War is not a good thing. As long as they are sincere in their beliefs and aren't out demonstrating against this Nation, President and those young men fighting it... they have my respect.

Shawn Hannity had one of the organizers of the demonstrations on last night and pressed him on who supplied the money. This guy "him- hawed" around and wouldn't say who the people were. Shawn alluded that they were socialist foundations and the guy didn't dispute him.

They are now again the quite minority.

I wouldent say that most of theese people are anti america (allthough there are probably some) but rather that most of them are hardcore anti-bush.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Bush is a good president, and I wouldent trust him as far as I could throw him, but I do believe that President Powell (doesn't it seem like thats whos really in charge at times ;) besides I like the sound of it better ) has done a great job with the war and has handled this particular situation very well.
