here is a very cool article i ran agross getting ready for fantasy draft this year. this is a comparison of who had the best QB numbers each year for the last 7 years...

i'm bringing this up not for fantasy football but to show you how great a QB culpeper has been ... i was shocked to see this.... i know he has been good and even great at times but this shocked me

i am looking forward to a great season...

you have to be an insider but here is the meat and potatoes

We draft the guy(peyton manning) first among signal callers every season. The thing is, Manning has never actually finished a season as the top fantasy quarterback even once! Never! Top five every year, sure, but never the best.

• In 2005, he was third behind Carson Palmer (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=6337')) and Tom Brady (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=5228')). Week 17 could have changed that, but it didn't.
• In 2004, as great as he was, Daunte Culpepper (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=4659')) barely edged him out.
• In 2003, it was Culpepper again.
• In 2002, Rich Gannon (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=430')), Michael Vick (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=5448')) and Culpepper beat Manning.
• In 2001, Kurt Warner (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=4541')), Jeff Garcia (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=4924')), Gannon, Steve McNair (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=3114')) and Donovan McNabb (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=4650')) topped Peyton.
• In 2000, it was Culpepper and Garcia.
• In 1999, Warner, Steve Beuerlein (http://javascript<b></b>:newWin('http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/fantasy?statsId=185')) (remember that season?) and Gannon beat him.

i guess since ur basing everything on fantasy points its been moved... but everything about his real statistics also prove we got one heck of a deal as well. This is easily a top 10 QB when healthy. He's what 28?? and what did we give up the 48th overall pick ??

Yeah, Pepper is GREAT to have. I freaked out when I read the news that he was gonna go to the dolphins. He's always been one of my favorite QBs, and now that he plays for the fins... Just feels great. hope he can be healthy in time, than we can make our way to the BIG GAME at home!
:dolphins: GO DOLPHINS!!!!:dolphins:
