Brees has looked strong through the first week of training camp. While he limits his number of throws to about 80 per day and the length of his passes to about 55 yards as a precaution, there are moments when his instincts take over and he rifles balls effectively into tight spots. In one recent practice he displayed distance and touch, hitting receiver Devery Henderson on a deep out route between zone coverage.
Sounds like he's healthy to me. He never had a cannon for an arm, he's just a very accurate and poised quarterback. 55 yards sounds good, especially when he was always maxed out at 65. I hope he can change this franchise around, he will have alot of weapons to work with.

I think Drew and Zach Hilton will help each other alot in the passing game

The Saints have a legit shot of 7-9, finally with Aaron Brooks out of town plus Staley/Bush. The defense though...

Let's not forget Joe Horn. Sure, he may not be what he once was, but I beleive he got something left in the tank.

That offense could be very good in a little bit. Still can't believe the Texans passed on Reggie Bush.
