From ESPN whispers around the NFL:

There has been some quiet concern about the early play of Giants CB Sam Madison, who has been beaten deep on more than one occasion. Though team sources say Madison is far from finished and still appears to be picking up the defensive responsibilities, he hasn't stood out to date.

He is getting old fast. I hope all the people that blasted Saban for cutting him see this.

Before you all freak out, I know you can't post the article, but what is the jist? It mentions the Giants being upset with his performance. Any help would be great.

A very good player for us. One of the best corners we ever had. He probably only has a few more years left in him.

perhaps... but after Sam, Troy Vincent, Patrick Surtain, and maybe Don McNeal for a little while, have we had any other good corners in our franchise history? Tim Foley? can't think of many... Tim McKyer? Ouch...
