according to PFT and chris mortenson, a deal is close/done between the cardinals and matt leinart.

Funny how Matt Leinart said in his interview that he would have been the first quarterback taken if he got out of USC early, which is the reason why he got this amount of money.

Though it's probably true, that is way too cocky. And this is the guy who compared himself to Tom Brady in the USC Pro Day interviews.

Interesting deal... that makes 9 players out of the top sixteen that received 6 year deals. We did well to fit Allen in under the current market conditions.

I really doubt that Warner is old and injury prone, and playing behind a ****ty offensive line.
