View Full Version : Hines Ward's hamstring

I just saw on NFL live that Hines Ward again tweaked his hamstring. Coach Cowher said it wasn't serious, but does any one know anything more about this? Ben and Hines are both a little banged up, these two lingering injuries could effect opening night.

Don't get me wrong, I want to see those guys on the field, but I wouldn't be too upset if they were sidelined or not 100%.

Right.. Everyone, EXPECT HINES WARD ON THE FIELD September 7.

Here comes Hines Ward, telling everyone that he may not be ready for Game 1, that his hammy is feeling "80%". Everyone in finheaven is all happy. "Yay, our secondary just caught a break. Woohoo".

Suddenly, Hines Ward comes on the field, like some corny Super Hero, and the announcers make a huge big deal about it. "And here comes the Super Bowl MVP". Those stupid Steelers waive their stupid towels, etc.

It will be like some wanna-be Shaq thing. Sad part is, all this described has a good chance of actually happening. Corny.

He should be fine. I would be very suprised not to see him playing on opening day at 100%
